Tabe
I think Texas is going to give Charlie Strong at least another year. He's having to dig out of a really huge hole though, admittedly, it's taking a lot longer than it should. USC, on the other hand, almost certainly will be. Sark isn't winning (enough), he's embarrassing the school, etc.
Robert C
It seems very unlikely that strong goes after this year. They may not have an AD in place till next fall, and its hard to be!ieve the interim guy is gonna fire him after only two years and eat the 15 million in guaranteed money left on that contract. It'll be open season on coordinators here in Austin come December, but I think strong is safe

Sark isn't winning (enough), he's embarrassing the school, etc. I don't even want to think about Chip Kelly at USC. That's both a scary and blasphemous thought. I can see Chip landing at Tennessee after they fire Butch Jones this year. Tennessee fans and boosters are unreasonable as to what their expectations are in 2015. The coaching search that landed Butch kind of shows that.
Brian Fowler
I'm not sure Chip would take the job, but if he ends up available, Maryland and the Under Armour guy are going to drive the proverbial dump truck fill of money straight to Chip's home. Dewar
If Chip leaves the NFL, he's going to be at Southern Cal, unless Oregon dumps their coach to bring him back.
hammerva
Apparently Oklahoma read too many press clippings because Texas is absolutely destroying them right now. Not even sure if they have more than 10 yards total offense

Niners Fan in CT
Great win. The kids stepped up big time. Maybe they can settle down on Strong for a bit. He needs to recruit better though.
Gonzo
Am I nuts to think when Chip Kelly is fired by the Eagles, Texas will be on the phone to him awfully quick? Makes sense. He can walk onto basically any college campus in America and name his price, and there probably isn't anyone that could put more zeroes on his paycheck than Texas. Then again, Charlie Strong leading his team to a win over Oklahoma today might have been enough to buy him another year.
EVA
If Chip Kelly becomes available, that should make a LOT of coaches nervous. Even beyond the names you currently hear associated with "the hot seat."
Kuetsar
Its kind of funny isn't it? All of that fuss over a guy who hasn't won shit at any level. . . .
Gonzo
Georgia RB Nick Chubb down with what appears to be a pretty significant knee injury. Maybe Leonard Fournette sitting out next season and preparing for the NFL isn't such a dumb idea.

Before Kelly at Oregon, who was the last coach to turn a non-national power into one? Spurrier at Florida? More importantly: TOUCHDOWN MICHIGAN MOTHERFUCKERS! JRGoldman
I think at least one major college coach will get an NFL coaching job, and Chip will be in line to take that spot. Michigan State, maybe?

AstroBoy
I'm going to have to accept that Michigan is the best team in the Big Ten this year, aren't I. Also having fun watching Tennessee get embarrassed against a Chubb-less Georgia.
Brian Fowler
I'm a long way from that, but they might have the best defense at least. And they get Sparty and Ohio both at the Big House, so I'm very cautiously optimistic.
EVA
The Northwestern bubble had to burst eventually. The market is emphatically correcting itself today.

Tabe
If Michigan had a good quarterback, they'd be undefeated right now and seriously in the hunt for the playoff. But they don't. They will next year, though.
Brian Fowler
Never mind, it was 36. I remembered to Google it myself. Neither team has had a game not finish under yet this year.
