ChesterCopperpot
Man Hogan's 1998 WCW contract was just insane http://www.scribd.com/doc/287131780/1998-Hulk-Hogan-contract-with-WCW
jstout
Does Court Bauer help book AAA or WWE? Either way, the idea that there's a team of guys booking Del Rio shows one of the things that's wrong with wrestling.
SirSmUgly
Man Hogan's 1998 WCW contract was just insane http://www.scribd.com/doc/287131780/1998-Hulk-Hogan-contract-with-WCW Was this the contract he scored by leveraging a return to WWF as it began to heat up? In an ideal world, someone over at WCW could called his bluff as WWF had already blown past them with Austin on top by the time he signed this deal and WCW had DDP and Goldberg coming up as guys who could probably carry the company along with Sting and Flair. The Nature Boy
Hogan could've worked in 1998 WWF. Corporate Hogan with Vince taking on Austin would've been loads of fun. If you run the SS 1998 screw job with Hogan instead of Mankind, you set up Hogan/Rock and Tony Schiavone spoiling Hogan's title victory on the air. Actually that all sucks
SirSmUgly
I personally prefer the idea/fantasy booking of a Savage WWF return in 1997, but Vince McMahon so undervalued Savage as a performer that it probably would have sucked.
Pete
Man Hogan's 1998 WCW contract was just insane http://www.scribd.com/doc/287131780/1998-Hulk-Hogan-contract-with-WCW $2 million signing bonus. 25% house cut for every Nitro/Thunder appearance. 15% PPV cut. 50% merchandise cut. $20,000 per month just to promote the n... W... o. How much of that would he have given back for a half decent divorce lawyer?
Cristobal
Man Hogan's 1998 WCW contract was just insane http://www.scribd.com/doc/287131780/1998-Hulk-Hogan-contract-with-WCW So, looking at that, $2M signing bonus, $4M/year guaranteed for 3 years, + at least 6 PPVs/year at 15% of buys or $675K, whichever is greater, 25% of Nitro/Thunder ticket sales or $25K, whichever is greater, 25% cut of house show ticket sales (gross), first-class trans, 50% of net profits on all Hogan merchandise and $20K/month for nWo merch, and a $175 per diem. NikoBaltimore
Don't forget the money he got off of non-Hogan/nWo merch (Jericho's story about his action figure ringing up under Hogan's name)
cool arrow
Small wonder that WCW hemorrhaged money for most of its existence.

piranesi
It makes so much sense now that he was a wrestler. I await the lineage story in the Observer of how that look was first developed in 1887 and has been taught to generation after generation until HHH finally handed it down to John Cena. joseph2112
You should listen to the latest MLW podcast with Konnan. Basically, they aren't pissed yet because they think he's still going to fulfill his dates I wouldn't bet on that actually happening Konnan thinks ADR is gonna fulfill his dates? We've entered the Twilight Zone, haven't we? Psssstt......Not for nothing and don't tell anybody I said so, but I think Konnan may be smoking something.
