SEPT 2015 WRESTLING DISCUSSION

RIPPA

Recommended Posts

Orton's newly engaged, IIRC.  I'm assuming he wants time to be with the wife-to-be and future stepkids.

I can't imagine Jasmin will be popular with many folks now; being friends with Zahra before she got canned was likely to be held against her by some, anyway.  The best thing for her is to keep her hidden for a year and hope folks forget this.

Counting all of the actresses that have played his wife, Orton is approaching Flair country.

I just had the image of a couple of eligible bachelorettes in a convertible saying "We can't stop here - this is Flair country!"

Exhibition Match

Owen Hart vs. Nick Barberri

WrestleMania XI Public Workout @ Times Square * March 28, 1995

What's the significance of this one?

Would guess just because of the setting in the middle of Times Square?

I still think the best thing for Orton would be him to get taken out by the New Day, then keep losing to individual members by shenanigans only to recruit John Cena as his partner, basically saying he's the toughest opponent he's ever face (Except Triple H of course).  Cena/Orton teaming up to elevate the tag division for half a year or so would be a lot of fun (I'm actually really enjoying the tag division...except the Dudleyz...right now, but I mean elevate it in terms of fans going "Cena and Orton in the tag division means its important!") you could have a several month chase of Cena/Orton vs New Day, Cena/Orton winning the titles, 2 on 3 rematch, then Cena and Orton running wild over the tag division for a few months and basically redo the US Title open challenge angle, but with an endgame in sight like debuting Enzo/Cass to defeat them for the belts or something.

I posted this in NXT but I think people were more interested in talkin' tag tournament so I'll try it here. What are the chances for Tim Thatcher and Zack Sabre Jr. making the NXT roster?

At this point, I'd say pretty good somewhere down the line. Considering the current crop of NXT guys and those both recently signed and rumored, its a good time to be a high end Indy guy. I haven't seen much of Sabre and I'm not sure how he compares size wise, but even that doesn't seem to matter as much anymore.
