It's good to see her doing well. She was woefully under-appreciated during her American Idol run. While she clearly wasn't the pop or country star they were looking for, they'd have you think the girl had no talent at all. Which, quite obviously, isn't true. There are some folks who didn't fit in the musical mold that the shows want but just need some of the exposure from the show to help the take off. Like Chris Mann from the Voice - being basically an opera singer - he was never going to win. But he ended up in the Finals, got in the Top 10 of the Classical charts, got TWO PBS specials and now is The Phantom in the North American Phantom of the Opera tour.
