Digging in the Crates Podcast

Recommended Posts

I shouldn't have giggled as much at you and Will trying to figure out who was who. I was having flashbacks...

If you ever have Dean on - it will be like the construction of every DVDVR and 500 ever

Sat down with a few cocktails to watch the first one and holy shit are those some matches! Aja Kong/Hotta was a war and I couldn't figure out where that blood was coming from at first, I could have swore Kong was busted open. And every time I watch a Chris Dickinson match, he reminds me of a modern day Tully Blanchard by how much of a dick he is but you totally shattered the glass when you made me realize how tall he is haha.

Phil Schneider is joined by his partner in crime from Segunda Caida, Eric Ritz (http://segundacaida.blogspot.com). They run down matches from Shotgun Saturday Night, All Japan from the 70s, Stan Hansen in Puerto Rico and a masterpiece you can only see on NWA Classics!

This got me to sign up again, loved these podcasts, this made me go back and watch some of the more rare Tarzan Goto matches I have. It's kind of sad to think there's quite a bit of solid Japanese indy action that will probably soon be lost for good. I actually got a bunch of IWA Kokusai stuff from a friend, sourced from Goro or his son and it's a shame the quality isn't very good. I do how ever have a decent enough copy of the show with Tarzan Goto vs Goro Tsurumi, which while short is a blast. On the same show there's also a Kurisu tag match with short post brawl between Kurisu and Goro, really hope they had a match.
