Jiji Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Oh, boy. I guess it's a good thing I forgot to set my DVR to record the West Ham match. That was amateur hour (and a half) going from highlights. Embarrassing.
Death From Above Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 When was the last time West Ham beat Manchester United and Liverpool in the same season? It'll probably turn out to be like 2 years ago or something but it seems like it might have been a while.
Jiji Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 They hadn't won at Anfield since 1963. And now no Coutinho for Old Trafford. If Lovren starts ahead of Sakho after that gaffe, I don't even know...
Death From Above Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Tottenham vs. Everton was an early contender for most boring game of the year. 1
piranesi Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Nothing is better than knowing that Mourinho gets to just be frozen here like this for two weeks. Like, these are going to be the best two weeks of the season for general earth-karma. 1
Randy Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 What were the Norwich defenders doing on Tadic's 2nd goal? They just let him walk in for the tap-in. Ruddy has a right to be upset at that.
Raziel Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 As OK as I am with Romero in goal, I kinda wish this whole De Gea thing would wither shit or get off the pot tomorrow. Either keep him and let him start playing, or offload him. I would *not* mind that De Gea and 60 Million Quid to Real for Bale rumor I saw floating around. 1
ReiseReise Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Dortmund and Bayern atop the Bundesliga table in this young season. Bayern with a convincing 3-0 win (Mueller 2x, Robben) over Bayer Leverkusen, Dortmund with another "We should score 3 more, but we win, so it´s alright"-performance, winning 3-1 after conceeding their first against Hertha - albeit from an offside position. Goals: Hummels, Aubameyang and Ramos for Dortmund, Kalou for Hertha. Aside from that, Stuttgart has had a catastrophic start, losing 1-4 at home, making their record 0-3 with 4 - 10 goals. FC Koeln had their best Bundesliga opening in quite a while, recording 7 points out of their first three matches. Ingolstadt recovered from their big home loss to Dortmund last week, winning even their second ever away game in Bundesliga history. Darmstadt manages to stay unbeaten while still being winless in their third match, having now recorded three draws. Wolfsburg is sitting on 7 points, but losing de Bruyne and Perisic now. There are talks about them picking up Draxler from Schalke, but no confirmation for that. Oh, confirmation however for Dante being transfered to Wolfsburg, fee is going to be 4,5 million €.

Then Romero fails to cover the back 4 laying a turd like De Gea did so well last year, and I wish he wasn't having this "I want to go back to Spain" tantrum.
sabremike Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Metro manhandled the scum tonight but to be fair to them they were playing a man down for the entire match. That's actually not true, they just played like it. Boy are they crap!
Shadow Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Petr Cech is magic, he wears a magic hat, he used to play for Chelsea – but said f**k off to that
MoeCristyV.1.6 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I hope he will be a better 9 than Ciro Immobile last season...
Roman Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Januzaj's got a boatload of talent, but unfortunately he also has the horrible attitude that tends to accompany such talent. Hopefully he'll get straightened out. If that happens, Dortmund will be very, very happy with him. Sad to see Kampl go, though. I thought he had a lot of potential.
SirFozzie Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Someone post the Its Happening GIF, De Gea to Real Martial to Man U Borini to Sunderland Most of Europe closes tonight, but England and Scotland close tomorrow
Roman Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Finally that de Gea situation is over. That was damn irritating. I just wonder who Louis brings to United now. Romero's not exactly a great goalie. Not to mention the defence is still weak as water.
Raziel Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 The answer to that is... United sends De Gea to Madrid for 44 Million... and buy Keylor Navas for 29 million. Navas isn't as good, but he was pretty good during the World Cup, so playing behind/eventually overtaking Romero is a thing. And it'll be nice to NOT see Johnstone's name on the bench.
Cristobal Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Reported numbers are varying, a bit. Sky has it as De Gea costs £29M. Someone else had the deal as De Gea for Navas + £29M. £29M is involved some way or another.
Raziel Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 United ditches another forward as Hernendez goes to Leverkusun for $11.2 Million US. Which would pretty much guarantee that the Martial deal is going through, because it'd be nice to have more than Rooney and Wilson at forward.
Roman Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 They need to get Adebayo Akinfenwa. Not because he's any good, but just because of the visual.

Apparently talks with West Ham broke down for Hernandez when they found out that he was asking for a bonus of $130K for every goal he scored
Death From Above Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Apparently Manchester United are after Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid and it sounds like it will be a huge fee.
