Re best ring announcers- Marc Lowrance never gets enough love. Great delivery, put some oomph in all the right places ("Albuquerque New Mexico, the world famous BRUUUUUISERRRRRR BRODY!") and also had a very droll sense of humor. (Introducing One Man Gang's opponent: "Standing outside the ring, where I wish I was...")

I actually attended the ECW Middletown show.  It was a slog for awhile.  Cactus debuted his "I'm not working" gimmick on a card that had Primo Canera III (aka Big Guido) in the first match and Dino Sendoff under a mask in the second.  I remember Mikey/Sandman being good.  Funny seeing how bad I murdered what Austin said given the sound system of the building.
