Guest Edwin
Huge tournament coming up next week. Chile who will be hosting will be taking on Ecuador in the opening game. All games will be televised on beIN SPORTS in America. Picks, predictions, discussion are all welcome.

Guest Edwin
Opening ceremony with some acrobatics is on. Kickoff for the first game between Chile and Ecuador should be in about 40 minutes.
SolidGoldBomb
Chile looked pretty dangerous still...but we'll see if they can hang with Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay etc when the going gets tough, and the knockouts get going..
Guest Edwin
Alexis played really selfish. I know he got the assist on the Vargas goal, but other than that you could see how desperate he was trying to score. Not the greatest Chile performance though. ReiseReise
Arturo Vidal apparently arrested in Chile for driving under influence and being involved in a car collision. I guess two goals in a 3-3 draw against Mexico were enough to party like crazy.
SirFozzie
How Neymar is still on the pitch is beond me. But upset brewing?
SirFozzie
Upset brewed. And it looks like Neymar got a red card in the post match scrum (he was already going to miss one game due to second yellow in the tourney due to the first half yellow), so he may miss a knockout game. Guest Edwin
Can't believe the women's WC had received more discussion than this on here. Far from a fantastic tournament, but a decent one with unexpected performances and results. I guess this being on beIN SPORTS only in America doesn't really help it. Dewar
Copa America has been as boring as the Canadian Women's National Team games in the Women's World Cup. The players give no shits about this tournament, why should we?
Death From Above
Neymar is to soccer as Jagr is to hockey. He's great but if he's your team's best player, good luck with that.
ReiseReise
At least he left his stupidity on the pitch. The stars in this tournament don´t seem that much into it. Is this Brazil´s first loss since the World Cup? I remember talk about their unbeaten streak...
SirFozzie
Neymar done for the rest of Copa America and if Brazil do not make the final, will miss the start of South American WCQ.
SolidGoldBomb
LOL @ Jara sticking his finger in Cavani's asshole to rile him up in front of the ref and get Cavani sent off

Cristobal
"Goosing" is grabbing the cheek, isn't it? That was a full-on oil check.
SolidGoldBomb
Yea that sounds more appropriate. Chile appealed and got his suspension reduced to 2 games now.
sabremike
Jara given a 3 match ban for goosing Cavani The idea that what is basically anal rape is only worth a 3 game ban is both hilarious and sick.
ReiseReise
Chile winning the Copa America by PKs. Looks like Messi is just not allowed to win a title on senior level with Argentina. Chile are therefore participants in 2017´s Confed Cup alongside Russia (hosts), Germany (World Champions) and Australia (Asian Champions).
