Reforma reported on Friday that William Arturo Muñoz González or better known to lucha fans as Rush is under investigation by the Mexico City police for the possible assault of an Arena Mexico security guard named Julio Cesar Juarez Najera on April 7th. The reports are that Rush and his wife were trying to enter Arena Mexico through a door in the parking lot but Rush's wife wasn't authorized to enter through the door and they had to wait until he could get the authorization to let her in. Well Mr. Najera called his superiors and they gave him the okay to let her in which Rush and his wife would enter but Rush was visibly upset and not too long after they went in, Rush came back out and started ranting and raving at Mr. Najera saying that he was disrespecting his wife and women in general saying that he should be ashamed of his actions and asked him if "he wanted to die" before hitting him very hard in the head knocking him unconscious. It was also noted that Rush had had some issues with Mr. Najera in the past but it wasn't anything like this. Rush was then apprehended by Arturo Beristain (the former Hijo del Gladiador & Talisman) who works in the front office of EMLL and taken back into Arena Mexico.

Najera eventually was able to contact his boss Ezekiel Sanchez and immediately was taken to Hospital Alvaro Obregon which is right near Arena Mexico and he was kept under observation with the blows determined as not to be major injuries and was given pain medication and hot compresses to help him. The next day, Mr. Juarez met with Salvador Lutteroth & Paco Alonso at Arena Mexico and the two head honchos basically told him that they didn't want this released to the media and they wanted him to only go to Hospital Alvaro Obregon if he had any more problems because that is the company contracted hospital. They also promised Mr. Najera that they would give Rush heavy sanctions for his transgressions if he didn't press charges. Juarez started off doing what they told him to do but his pain got worse by the day and a couple of days he later he went back to Hospital Alvaro Obregon and they told him that he had suffered a 3rd grade whiplash, concussion, and a possible fracture in his vertebrae. Mr. Juarez has been seeing orthopedic specialists in other hospitals since then because he felt like there was a conspiracy going on between EMLL and Hospital Alvaro Obregon. It should be noted that around this time that Rush wasn't booked on any of the Mexico City cards for 3 weeks so it's possible that he was suspended but nothing has been confirmed yet. The police are investigating this as I said earlier so this could turn out to be nothing or a big something.

ALL ELITE announced yesterday Atlantis & Octagon vs. Fuerza Guerrera & Ultimo Guerrero for their next show at Arena Mexico on 6/14. Octagon making his return to Arena Mexico for the first time in 23 years.

Speaking of ALL ELITE they have hooked up with Houston based Clutch City Productions to work as a booking agent for American based wrestlers to work ALL ELITE shows in the future.

Hijo del Santo is heading up another tour of England in mid-July with Angel Blanco Jr., Dr. Wagner Jr., Heddi Karaoui, Mano Negra, Rayman, Bobby Zavala, Zumbi, Mascarita Sagrada, Octagoncito, & Cassandro listed as the talent going over.

1. Triangular de Parejas: Aramis & Iron Kid beat Arez & Belial and Ciber Punk & Garrobo Punk but were attacked by Arez & Belial afterwards.
2. Aereo & Rey Apocalipsis defeated Alas de Acero & Impulso with both teams falling apart afterwards.
3. Caifan beat Aero Boy in a very good match.
4. Silueta fought Keira to a draw
5. Latin Dragon defeated Psycho Kid
6. Rey Horus beat Flamita in a match that many people called one of the best matches in Mexico this year.
