I think he was trying to get tossed just like in that Lakers/Spurs series, because he will always have a loser's mentality. The flagrant foul rules need a huge overhaul, to at least get some consistency. That was no different than a Draymond Green or Bogut screen. Plenty predicted them to lose in the first round, most predicted that the Clippers would beat them, and almost everyone predicted a sweep. IIRC, SI picked them to finish 8th in the West. The Rockets, without Dwight for most of the year, missing their starting PG and PF still won the toughest division in basketball (every team in the division made the playoffs) and the 2 seed. Harden had an MVP season with a seemingly random lineup and they had a deep playoff run. If you told me that the Rockets would lose in the Western Conference Finals at the beginning of the year, I'd be ecstatic. Golden State was better. It's okay.
