Charlie M.
Yeah, at least it's a close game. That's the only thing keeping me watching.
hammerva
Love that Paul Pierce told people that the Raptors don't have "it" whatever "it" is. My question is when did the Wizards ever have "it"? I mean sure Paul Pierce definitely has "it" although for some reason they felt the need to let show it in the last 7 minutes. but this team definitely doesn't. Especially Beal and Wall
Charlie M.
Don't worry, Pierce will bury the Wizards when he leaves. He already kinda did in that article as well.

muhammedboehm
Or we'll get four games of how he put the pieces in place ect
Niners Fan in CT
Pierce generated some Rusev heat to start and then finished them off with the accolade. Good stuff. Warriors kind of dicked around with the Pelis there at the end. They missed a lot of free throws and Davis heated up. I still think this will be a sweep. sabremike
The Nets are giving out free shirts for the playoffs, YAY FREE SHIRTS! But there are two problems: first is that the people there usually aren't smart enough to know the team wants them to wear them. The second is that their stupid lighting system leaves the fans in the dark, thus killing the tifo the shirts are supposed to create.
Lawful Metal
Joey Crawford is reffing Rockets-Mavs. I blame myself.
RandomAct
Joey Crawford is reffing Rockets-Mavs. I blame myself. And he's hard at fucking work here, believe me. Love Harden plowing into Dirk with his elbow and still finding his way to the free throw line. Love the Mavs D in the 2nd though, great comeback. It's clear the key is keeping the Houston bigs in foul trouble. Playoff Rondo is here. Edit: The tone of the game obviously shifted after the second. I still think we have this one in six. No worries.
Lawful Metal
Well, I'm happy. Dwight in foul trouble all night, Harden hardly shot the ball well or at all, and we still win by double digits. Can't complain. Capela even hit a free throw! Only sad thing is that we were denied intentional foul off with Josh Smith and Rondo bricking back and forth. Brian Fowler
So, who had three quarters in the "how long will it take Anthony Davis to figure out the playoffs?" pool?

Niners Fan in CT
Rockets/Mavs was a fun game. Couple things. First, I just hope Boston isn't embarrassed. Stevens is playing with house money. Also, 10:30 ET start for Spurs and Clips is going to be rough. If it was a game 7 maybe I'd stay up for it.

RandomAct
Actually really like what I'm seeing out of Boston right now. There have been stretches where they are flat out-playing Cleveland. Probably still a 5 game series, but the Cavs aren't going to blow them out.
Charlie M.
They're giving it a good shot, they're just not going to be able to get any stops when they need them. They just don't have the right guys to do it.
Niners Fan in CT
They are playing good offensively but getting crushed on the boards which they have no answer for... and Kyrie.. also no answer. Stevens just needs some more talent.
JRGoldman
I thought the 1st quarter was good for the Cavs overall, because now they know they can't sleepwalk. I think the pace really favors the Cavs. I think Love is playing really well even if his shit isn't falling.
RandomAct
Thing is, Celtics are playing some solid D, it's just impossible to stop 3 elite level offensive players. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to run Crowder on Lebron more, but shit, what can you do? Thomas is guarding Kyrie as well as you possibly can and it's not enough. S.K.o.S.
$35k fine for Masai Ujiri for "using obscene language in a public setting" and an additional $25k fine for the Raptors.
_MJ_
I haven't look at the rebounding numbers yet, but the Cavs were getting everything at one stretch. In the 3rd quarter, I thought I was experiencing deja vu because I kept seeing Kevin Love grab the same type of rebound. Shump did a good job on Isiah in the second half. Boston got a lot of good looks and shot well.
RandomAct
Any reason why the Atlanta crowd are being colossal cockbags to Joe Johnson? Besides "because Atlanta"? They realize he was great to that team, right?
goodhelmet
This Portland-Memphis series is going to be rough. After watching game 1 of the Hawks-Nets, there are stretches where the Hawks looked like they were that perfect unit that racked up 60 games. In other moments, you see what happens when you don't have a definitive superstar to carry you through rough stretches.
Niners Fan in CT
Through nearly two days of playoff basketball the Warriors and Bulls were most impressive. Almost time for the main event.
