Could we get HBO to team up with Ben Affleck and adapt the "Kenzie & Gennaro" novels into a series?

Each "season" would comprise a single novel.

I'd have Casey Affleck and Slaine reprise their roles from "Gone Baby Gone" as they both still look youthful enough, but replace Michelle Monaghan as even in "Gone" she didn't fit the part as Dennis Lehane wrote it even ignoring how much older she looked in "Pixels" last year.

Each season would be a faithful adaptation of Lehane's novels, set in the year it was published and HBO would drive a dump truck full of cash to Cary Fukunaga's house to get him to direct the final episode of "Darkness Take My Hand" with the confrontation with the bad guy in the bar and then the playground.

Count me in on this one.  LeHane did some writing on The Wire, so he probably has some connections there.

I wonder what sort of episode Sports Night would come up with in these days of ESPN covering UFC, WWE, and having Lucha Underground folks in the SportsCenter studio.

And I still want a wrap up season or mini-series for Joan of Arcadia. I want them to admit that yes God talks to her, and have a payoff of the last season setup where she's basically going versus the Devil. Somehow, it should involve a guy named Bob.

Having finally watched Galavant on Netflix, I want somebody to pick that up.

Probably not since you're probably one of the only 2 people that actually watched season 2.

Lethal Weapon- In this reboot of the failed Damon Wayans vehicle, the producers will be instructed to stick closely to the source material. rather than make the TV series a loose adaptation where Murtaugh is a Felix Unger expy and Riggs is a Texas good ole boy with a giant mustache.

Characters will include:

Det. Sergeant Roger Murtaugh: a veteran black detective assigned to the LAPD'S Major Crimes, Robbery/Homicide division.  A stable family man and veteran of the first Iraq War.  An old school cop, he favors the Smith and Wesson 4566.

Det. Sergeant Martin Riggs: A former Marine sniper who performed "black ops" assignments for the CIA's Special Activities Group during second Iraq/Afghanistan.  Suffers from extreme PTSD, which was severely exacerbated following the death of his wife, Victoria Lynn, two years earlier.  Now a suicidal wreck, he has been transferred to Robbery/Homicide after a botched drug raid left three suspects dead.  He carries the state of the art Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 as his sidearm.

Capt. Ed Murphy: leader of the Robbery/Homicide division.  He always has his men's backs, regardless of how much property damage they cause.

Amanda Hunsacker: a 20-year old drug addict and porn actress, her suicide in the pilot episode triggers the first season's main story arc.

Gen. Peter McAllister: the big bad of season one, the leader of Shadow Company, a CIA-backed mercenary company that is now one of the largest heroin smuggling operations on the West Coast.

"Mr. Joshua:" McAllister's right hand man, a cold,  ruthless assassin who develops a personal grudge against Riggs.

Michael Hunsacker: Amanda's father and old Army buddy of Murtaugh's he uses his position as a bank president to help Shadow Company launder their drug money.

Dr. Stephanie Woods: LAPD psychiatrist, her efforts to treat Riggs lead to constant embarrassment for her.

Trish Murtaugh: Roger's wife; the author of a hugely successful series of BDSM e-novels, her financial success allows her to buy a giant house in the suburbs for her family.

Rianne Murtaugh: Roger's college age daughter.  She sets her sights on seducing Riggs, which, because of the age lift and Riggs being clouded by grief, she succeeds in doing.

Lt. Lorna Cole: Head of Internal Affairs, she makes it her holy mission to bring down Riggs and Murtaugh.

Season two will introduce Morgan Freeman as the murderous South African ambassador, while season three sees Riggs and Murtaugh trying to stop a renegade LAPD detective from flooding the streets with armor piercing "cop killer" bullets, and season four will deal with Uncle Benny and the Triads.

American Gods: This would be a miniseries, doing a straightforward adaptation of Neil Gaiman's original novel, rather than an expansion.

Dialogue would be lifted directly from the novel, rather than freely rewritten by the actors themselves.  The showrunners would be instructed not to deviate from the novel in any way.

After filming of American Gods ends, production would immediately begin on an adaptation of Anansi Boys for the following year.

Sons of Anarchy prequel. Miniseries or movie, either one.

I've always wanted to see this and apparently it's been in the works for a while. Sutter apparently wants to do a sequel to SOA featuring Jax' kids as well. https://www.tyla.com/entertaining/tv-and-film-sons-of-anarchy-kurt-sutter-sequel-jax-son-abel-what-happened-details-20200424
