TNA Impact Wrestling - Airing March 27, 2015 & April 3, 2015 from Orlando, FL

*Show opens with James Storm coming to the ring with Khoya in to the steel cage. Storm cuts a promo about how tonight is supposed to be Jeff Hardy's revenge but he's not here. Storm says he crippled Jeff and took out Matt last week. Storm mocks Jeff's bump by throwing a watermelon off the top of the cage. Jeff Hardy arrived to interrupt. Jeff admitted that Storm did what no one else could do as he's hurt and not walking right but he can still kick his ass. Jeff declares tonight they will be locked in and end the Revolution. Manik runs out to attack but Jeff fights him off. Abyss comes down to attack but Jeff uses a steel chair to fight him off as well. Storm says by the end of the night, Jeff will wish he was dead. Jeff wants the Lethal Lockdown roof on the cage.

*TNA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle comes to the ring for a promo. Angle thanks everyone for supporting him throughout his career and says that support is why he is world champion for the 14th time and the first time in 3 and a half years. Angle says he had to refocus and calls being champion again after all his injuries, the proudest moment of his career. Ethan Carter III interrupts with Tyrus. EC3 calls Kurt an inspiration and says he did the impossible by beating Lashley. EC3 brings up that he's beaten every TNA Hall of Famer and will be the man to beat Angle for the title and there's nothing he can do about it. Bobby Roode interrupts and says he should be involved in any title discussion. Roode threatens EC3 and says he respects Angle as he deserves his moment but it's just a moment. Eric Young interrupts and says he will stop Roode. Young declares himself to be better than Roode and always has been. Young says as long as he's breathing, Roode will never hold the title again. Austin Aries arrives with his briefcase and says the fate of the title is in his hands. Aries has a bottle of champagne and asks if they are celebrating Kurt's title win or his. Angle says he will take on all comers and all times. Bobby Lashley arrives and wants his rematch. Kurt says they can do it right now but refs break it up. Tyrus, EC3, & Eric Young attack Aries & Roode until Mr. Anderson makes the save. Anderson says there is too much talking and not enough fighting, leading to a six man tag.

*Ethan Carter III, Tyrus, & Eric Young def. Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, & Mr. Anderson when Young forced Aries to submit to a figure four leglock.

*Awesome Kong def. Brooke after the Implant Buster. After the match, Kong hits a second one and goes to put Brooke through a table but Taryn Terrell makes the save. They brawl until Kong powerbombs Taryn through the table.

*Bram comes out, calling out Magnus as a coward who hides behind his family. Bram says Mickie has more balls than Magnus ever did and that he's more of a man than him. Bram brings up Magnus's kid. Magnus & Mickie interrupt. Magnus threatens to put him six feet under if he ever talks about his kid again. Magnus says everyone talks too much when the Impact Zone wants Total Nonstop Action. Bram says after he beats Magnus, the door is always open for Mickie. They brawl until Bram hits a low blow. Bram goes after Mickie but Magnus hits him with the turnbuckle. They beat up Bram until he escapes.

*Rockstar Spud def. Low Ki (w/ MVP & Kenny King) to retain the X Division Title with a small package after a distraction from Drew Galloway. After the match, the BDC cut a promo about coming after Galloway. Drew talks about standing up for pro wrestling and wants to see who's with him. Drew is joined by Shaun Ricker and Camacho, who are referred to as The Rising.

*Gail Kim def. Angelina Love after Eat Defeat

*Eric Young comes out and says tonight he ends Bobby Roode's career in the final war. Roode comes out and says since Young cost him the title, he beat him in a cage then he was the last man standing, now tonight he ends this story forever. They argue leading into the match.

*Eric Young def. Bobby Roode via figure four leglock submission. Originally Roode had the match won with the crossface but the ref was knocked down.

*The Wolves come out for a promo with Eddie Edwards on crutches. Borash asks for an update. Edwards explains he fractured his heel and will be out for a long time so they cannot defend the tag team championships. JB asks if Davey has thought of a different partner. Davey says they are family, the best team in the world and will relinquish the titles until Eddie is healthy. They promise to hunt down whoever becomes the new champions.

*Magnus def. Bram in a falls count anywhere match.

*Kurt Angle def. Lashley with a rollup to retain the world title. Lashley's shoulder was up but the ref missed it.

*Jeff Hardy def. James Storm in a Steel Cage Match with a splash hanging from the roof of the cage.

  • 2 weeks later...

Loved the opening video recapping the Storm-Hardy issue setting up that being the start of the show. The new set looks fantastic - it's heavy on video walls and looks like the best set they've had in about a year. Ki lost to Spud in a fun little match that set up The Rising vs. The BDC and took Ki out of the X Title picture for now logically. Brooke vs. Kong was just about perfect. Kong looked like a badass being her base and having Brooke just bounce off her, then demolish her and Taryn. Loved the return of THE EXTREME ENIGMA just beating the daylights out of Koya with ladders and bottles. That was a fun character on SD and the best use of Hardy in terms of hiding his weaknesses on the mic.

EVERYONE IN THE TITLE PICTURE TALKED and then everyone but Lashley and Kurt got into a 6-man tag. Okay little match that got over EY's figure four nicely. His new shoulder tattoo though...no. Mickie, Magnus, and Bram once again had the best promo segment on the show setting up the street fight that was announced a bit earlier. Bram is such a sick bastard that it makes even the most scummy parts of this feud actually work really well.  Hardy came off like a huge star in the intro, but the main event wasn't very good. Worst Eye of the Storm ever hit for a 2, but Jeff got a really cool monkey bar rana for a 2.9. Great finish with the cowbell and the cage-assisted splash too. Fun match, but definitely a step down from last week. Luckily, it was a good story match and next week's show could be one of the best Impacts in...well about two weeks. The show is on a roll.

I'm more impressed that Jay didn't post the screen cap of Taryn's g-string in this thread

That's in the gallery.

As for the 4/3 show -

They debuted new wacky hand-drawn graphics for the show that were hilariously bad. Then they talked about this being the first EY-Roode match...before recapping the other ones. EY and Roode started the "bell to bell" show with talking - and not even good talking. They had probably their best match yet with EY kind of cheating to win with the leg brace and taking the ref out, but I just can't get excited about their matches. They've had too many and no matter how many good wrinkles they add to this feud, it's not doing anything for me.

Wolves cut horrible promos to surrender the tag titles. I did like them placing a belt in a corner and bowing to it, but these men need a manager badly. Gail-Love was a pretty good match greatly hurt by SUB-RAW LEVEL COMMENTARY. Wacky Ghost Asylum/Revolution skit amused me. Bram vs. Magnus was fine in highlight form, but dragged on and made little sense at times in real-time.

Lashley vs. Kurt was fantastic. This might've been even better than their first match, and was better than anything other than the main event at WrestleMania. I didn't like the shoulder up finish though. They did it throughout the whole thing, which makes the referee look really bad since that means he wasn't looking at the right part of the body for any part of the count. Still, it was a must-see match and well-worth going out of your way to see. The rest of the show is quite skippable, however.

I really liked the Wolves' promo and thought they came off well showing emotion and putting over their teamwork/the titles. The Hunt Never Dies! Laughed at Josh's "Tune in next week to see the guys from Ghost Asylum and what they find in James Storm's barn."  Angle/Lashley was great, I liked it a bit more than the first match aside from the finish. Good near falls, loved Lashley's slick spear and the tilt a whirl into the running powerslam. Good stuff.
