Baseball players more than any other athletes tend to have no marketable skills outside of the sport. It is the only sport where you don't have to go to school to get drafted. He probably has bills that need millions of dollars to pay, and no paychecks coming in. That was my first thought as well. There isn't any doubt about her playing gigs for narcos, didn't her husband prior to Loaiza go to prison for dealing?. A few years before she died, she had like $50K in her purse that she didn't declare and it got her arrested at the airport in Distrito Federal.
