The Marvel Things That Aren't "Marvel" Things

Does Bob really need to be a henchman for a super-villain group?  His straight man role would be filled if he were just a mailman.

And Deadpool could steal his mail truck and arm it with missles and machine guns and call him 'Bob Mailman' like he was Jewish.

Is that what happened to the tapes Bob's presumed brother was supposed to mail out to people?

Never work. There's too many guys called Scott already.

Big news.... or at least rumors:

The Amazing Spider-Man experiment is officially over. Latino Review has confirmed through a source at Sony Pictures that Drew Goddard — long rumored to join the series’ creative team — will both write and direct the upcoming reboot of the Spider-Man franchise. The series is named SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN after the comic series of the same name. Allegedly, it will contain three films and will be released over consecutive summers.

Latino Review has a full statement from its source, but here’s the big stuff:

Key things to look for in the new series
  • No new origin story, Spidey exists from the beginning, taken as a given
  • New actor, probably an unknown, he will be specifically based in High School and they want him to be able to grow up into the role.  The thought being if this works, Spidey can do multiple trilogies for years ala Harry Potter.
  • A major part of the first film will involve Spider- Man fighting Iron Man and then trying to pass the “audition” to join the Avengers
  • The first film will involved the Sinister Six coming together with the thought to later maybe spin them off.

Well, Drew is from TV, used to working a fast schedule, but...  Is there even enough time to do the special effects that way, unless they film all three together like Peter Jackson doing Tolkien?

It sounds to me like that's what's being suggested.
