Rehabilitated Rick Posted May 20, 2015 Share Posted May 20, 2015 If they were as ''smart'' as they think they are they should give him a standing ovation for elevating every NXT guy he's collaborated with over the past few weeks and will continue to do so, but nah. The NXT fans at full sail are way onto their way of being as tediously annoying as the impact fans of yesteryear. Tim Evans Posted May 22, 2015 Share Posted May 22, 2015 Tonight's NXT tapings were pretty newsworthy. Had some new feuds start, good wrestling and Kevin Owens being The Man. The show was sold out, they had to turn people that already bought tickets away and give them refunds. First hour had Kevin Owens come out pretending to be Sami Zayn. Cuts a promo about Sami, buries the crowd and talks about Joe. Joe comes out and they have another staredown. Actually before Joe came out, Solomon Crowe came out and challenged Owens for the main event. They had a good match. Lots of Blake/Murphy and Alexa Bliss on these shows. BAM beat Elias Samson and Mike Rawlis in the first taping. Alexa beat Carmella in the second and the final taping had Enzo/Cas/Carmella beating BAM/Alexa. Alexa is so much better as a heel. Just hot fire. Finn Balor beat Ty Dillenger and Rhyno in two different matches. Rhyno turned heel and gored Balor after the match. That seems to be the next feud. Tyler Breeze had two matches. One vs Adam Rose that was kinda boring. Another match vs Bull dempsey which was actually a comedy match with them doing a "bull has bad cardio" gimmick. I can live with Bull doing a comedy gimmick. VaudeVillans had a few matches vs Samson/Rawlis and Jason Jordan/Mikaze. The Mikaze match went bad when he got hurt and was out on his feet. They had to stop the match and it took a while for him to be able to walk to the back. Real scary situation. The most surprising thing of the night was no Sasha banks. Not sure if she was injured or not. Becky Lynch had a match vs Jesee Mckay. Charlotte had a match with KC and Emma had a few matches. One vs Bayley which Emma won with a submission. Dana Brooke was with Emma and didn't do much except when they both attacked Emma. Charlotte match the save. Emma's second match was vs Blue Pants. Blue Pants was probably the most over person on the whole show. Even more than Joe. It was insane. The crowd even sang happy birthday to her after the match. The big angle of the night was Joe vs Owens. It happened on the final hour and ended with a DQ. It all started when Joe had his first NXT match vs Scott Dawson. After the win, Joe called out Owens who was doing commentary. Owens said no thanks and said Joe doesn't deserve a title match since he's just had one match. This brought out Regal who agreed but said they were gonna match a non title match. Joe/Owens was a real good appetizer for what will probably come at the next Takeover. From the looks of it the crowd at Full Sail has been brutal to her when she tried the promo. Listen I understand that Eva Marie is easily the worst Divas in WWE history in terms of actual wrestling. But it sounds like she is actually trying to get better as she has training lots with Brian Kendrick. Even if we see a dramatic improvement (hell any improvement is dramatic for her), it is clear this crowd isn't going to her a chance. As much as I love the NXT product, the NXT fans at Full Sail lately are really doing everything in their power to hurt it. I see nothing impressive about her. Because she's fun in the ring. She has a handful of signature spots that make her stand out amongst the other main roster divas and her work usually makes sense.
