Big question for Detroit now. At home, bad opponent, late season, chance to reclaim first place. Kind of game they have blown a lot over the decades.

Any chance New England clinches home field next week so they can put their scrubs out against the Bills the final game?

Denver have to lose this week or next for that to be possible. As it stands the Patriots have to win out to clinch homefield, assuming everyone else in the chase wins their remaining games.

As a non Colts fan, that's not a penalty to me. He was trying to make a tackle and Fitzpatrick sidesteps into the leg that was already out.

Yeah, it does look more like momentum rather than a "sweep the leg" situation.

Sure, blame the victim.

Nah, he kicks his leg at him.  That's tripping (of course, we have the benefit of slow motion).

Making tripping look "accidental" is totally an NFL tradition.  Competitive edge and what not.

49ers scored in the redzone. What am I watching.

Bizarro Greg Roman calling running plays in goal line situations?

Oh man we need a GIF immediately of Peyton Manning strutting away from lead blocking that CJ Anderson touchdown.

edit: near-touchdown

What's the origin of the really dumb "fumble under 2 minutes to go" rule? It seems like a completely unnecessary add-on.

Let me guess: Once the team the NFL wants to win nearly lost a playoff game so let's just make something up?

5-3 at the half in the Titans/Jets catastrophe I see. Who could possibly be watching a game between two 2-11 teams who are both playing bad?
