Team Cena (Cena, Ziggler, Sheamus, Show, and ?) vs. Team Authority (Rollins, Kane, Henry, Rusev, and ?) in a "Is Stephanie Pregnant?" match. Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose AJ Lee vs Nikki Bella Alvarez seems to think that Nikki winning will be a big indicator for AJ's possible departure from WWE.

I don't see anyone from Team Cena turning, but I see Team Authority not co-existing and I see Seth Rollins walking out when he's outnumbered ala Honky Tonk Man from SS '87.

I can see Orton (despite everything) being on Team Authority for his own reasons (i.e. if Team Authority wins then Orton is granted an immediate title shot, Seth Rollins must forfeit MITB case to Orton, and Rollins and Kane are both suspended for 90 days without pay). Something so big that Orton won't pass up the opportunity and this stip will pretty much ensure no Orton turn during the match. Re: AJ Lee. Trish Stratus and Lita were the last two women heavily pushed by WWE that I just did not give a shit about. McCool was also heavily pushed, but she had her moments. I just don't give a fuck about AJ Lee. I don't find her attractive, her matches are pedestrian, and she just comes off as so annoying like shoot-cool cred by association or some bullshit. I would be more than happy if she pulled a 'Punk' and walked out and never returned. Nikki has improved in the ring and on the mic and is awesome, but despite her looking great and having it together in the ring (and perhaps being one of the legit strongest Divas in the company right now) just isn't over with the crowd. The amount of TV she has been getting- her reaction is limited to her entrance and any after match tomfoolery. I love Nikki Bella and think she is doing a good job, but surely there has to be a better option for Divas champion outside of AJ? No one is really over in the Divas Division if you begin to think about it and that is kinda scary. The two of the chicks who get a reaction are both costing off of someone else's fame (Nattie and Brie). Eva Marie, Rosa Mendes, and Cameron are all not over. Tamia wasn't over before she left (despite having a good match with Paige at the PPV- the crowd slept though it). Emma, Alicia Fox, and Namoi are all barely over and its sad as the crowd seems to like all three and want to get behind them more but the crowd is smart enough to know that WWE has no real plans for any of the three...so its best not to get TOO EXCITED. Layla and Rae's act is interesting but gets no real reaction. I honestly think post Survivor Series its time for WWE to bring up Bayley, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks. 1
Patrick B. Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I really want to see Naomi get a run with the belt, but she keeps getting pushed off to the side for whatever reason. I have trouble seeing any true shakeup in the Divas' Title picture until Charlotte gets called up to the main roster.

Bringing up more divas won't fix the problem. Pushing them in a way that shows the audience they give a damn will. And even that would take time due to how much they have trained the audience to not care over the years. 2

If I don't think there is any merits in keeping a Diva around then all points need to be covered. Workrate, promos, character, and looks. I think Eva Marie looks great and is hands down the best looking Diva currently employed by WWE. I make a point to state that when writing about Eva Marie so people know WHY I like her and where I see her true value, because its not in anything else. Wrestling is a cosmetic business and especially for the women they are judged on looks first (because the Divas and WWE want to sell me on how sexy the Divas are) and everything second. I find no value in AJ Lee across the board and would like her to take some extended time off after SS. Re: Call-ups. Bring in the NXT girls and release some of the current WWE Diva roster. I don't think anyone would cry if Tamina, Rosa, and Cameron were released right now. Especially if it meant the 3 mentioned girls from NXT get to have a spot on the main roster. 1
Patrick B. Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I'm honestly surprised WWE hasn't pushed Eva Marie to the moon based on the level of hatred she gets from the INTERNET NITWITZ fanbase. To me, she's just another model chick, seems to only have one facial expression, and doesn't seem all that great in the ring...but if someone can draw heat, then go with it. I think A.J.'s cute, but I also think the Divas' Title picture needs some new blood. I'd rather it be someone else, but the Bellas aren't going away any time soon so they might as well run with that.

That could be a good comedy match with actual workrate thrown in. From the looks of things, this will be two PPVs in a row with no Brock/world title match.

w. josh Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Putting both secondary champs in the Survivor teams match really hurts the card, since there aren't any other real feuds going on and they can't just fill time by having someone earn a shot at the IC or US title. At this point, I wouldn't be shocked at a debut (maybe whatever Xavier/Kofi/E have morphed into), an NXT multi-man showcase, or Adam Rose vs. the Bunny.

We're gonna cheer for Orton either way, so it would be the best place for his babyface turn.

Surprise return for Orton as the 5th member. I lucked into some free tickets to this show, so I'm going. I wish the card was stronger, but free is free.
Go2Sleep Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 This is honestly the least excited I've been for a ppv in a long time, and certainly the least excited for one I've been at live. There is just nothing inspiring on this card, and if you told me this was the lineup for Raw this week or SD 2 weeks from now, I wouldn't doubt it for a second. The one thing I could think of that would make this show feel special is if they only go with 4 matches and the main event goes an hour plus. There are enough bodies in there to make it work without anyone getting too tired or the match getting too boring, and leave 10-15 at the end for lengthy Rollins/Cena (or Orton if he's there) showdown. I'd also like to see an NXT elimination tag on the pre-show, but that seems even less likely than an hour plus main event.
