Hollywood Cibernetico Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 WCW made The Cat. All WWE had to do was keep the gimmick going and not make it its own. Of course Vince and company couldn't help themselves and thus The Cat came out to ridiculous theme music, wore an Elvis costume, and had a midget with a fro. Based on how racist WWE is, I am not looking forward to this gimmick.
mco543 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Hulk Hogan @HulkHogan · 4m 4 minutes ago Sad day for America and WWE Universe,Rusev as US Heavyweight Champion makes me sick,John Cena where are you when we need you brother. HH I'd pay an exorbitant sum to see Rusev crush Hogan into permanent retirement. 3
piranesi Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 What was hanging down and flying around on Noble's pants? Was he wearing suspenders, or old-timey onsie underwear? Or do they have him on one of those toddler leashes?
Patrick B. Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Liked:-Good Ambrose-Cesaro match -Kidd won, that caught me off guard-I-C Title match felt important for the first time in forever-Rollins won clean-U.S. Title change; Sheamus had barely done anything with it
Casey Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 The amount of people that thought the Rusev/Sheamus match would end in fuckery is laughable. There's a reason they put a title match on the network (with a clean finish+title change) and it's free for a month. They're panicking. But, yay! Rusev as the Russian Heavyweight Champion! He better re-brand that title.
Eivion Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Loved a lot of the stuff with Orton and Rollins tonight. Sheamus/Rusev was good, and I'm so damn happy Rusev won. Now hopefully we get a long build to someone (Ryback) beating him for the belt at WM.
mattdangerously Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 This Sheamus vs Rusev match is heatless. Was Raw really that bad to that crowd? Have you been to a Raw taping since they went to three hours? It's brutal. Even if it's a good show, after a couple time killing midcard segments in the second hour you just wanna fucking go home.

Josh Mann Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Orton getting punked into January was a given with the film and all, but he went out as a huge babyface in the span of two weeks. That's not nothing. I'm just going to throw it out there that they may want to consider Orton-Brock at Mania if there's another hitch with Roman Reigns.
Dolfan in NYC Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I have to think someone is going to make a GIF of Kane ruining the moment by tripping over his own feet before the curb stomp 8
piranesi Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 "Government regulations tripping you up? VOTE LIBERTARIAN!!! and watch where the fuck you're going" 8
piranesi Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Do you think there was a discussion among all the authority guys where HHH made it clear his shirt was the only one that was booked to pop open all on it's own?
PetrolCB Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I'd like to see Orton saving himself with a spawned RKO out of nowhere. 1
Curt McGirt Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Haha, two hardways, one to open the show and one to end it. It's hilarious how Orton kept going back to sweep shit off the table and still happened to headbutt the only damn thing on it. Look like it really jacked him up, too. HHH doing the Vince Lombardi routine to Orton almost made me forgive him endlessly talking to Ziggler with Steph interrupting at random. Speaking of which, wild dress she had on tonight. Vinnie Mac as rambling, doddering old man was pretty great. The quality of the match was so high that I didn't really mind Cesaro losing again, but could they at least have it be a win via DQ or something? If they're gonna fight around the loop then at least let him have a screwy finish on TV so he isn't laying down every single time. King was extra creepy tonight so AJ shutting him down with no response when he made that piss-poor joke was the best.

Is there a master list somewhere of objects Orton has landed on?
HumanChessgame Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 "Randy Orton landing on random objects" would be a much better meme than RKOs out of nowhere.
Curt McGirt Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Don't forget when he stepped in the hole in the table, too. He was lucky not to ruin his ankle on that one.
Phantom Lord Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 God, Vince is in desperate need of some botox or something. For a guy pushing 70 he looked like he was about 95. The bags under his eyes say here's a guy who is probably living on nothing but 20 minute power naps. They really are going to find him dead behind his desk someday. Ambrose getting the nod and thumbs up from Vince is no good. Ambrose should have just blown him off. Dean doesn't need anybody. The match with Cesaro was fun. It's a shame Cesaro isn't IC Champion and this wasn't a feud over that title. That would be some fun stuff. I'm all for rebuilding Bray Wyatt...but not at sacrificing him for Ambrose. I guess they're just gonna redo everything they did with Bryan and Bryan last year with him and Dean. I mean if it worked once... Ziggler is an idiot. He should have said screw Cena, he's out for himself and he wants to be the one to end The Authority. Triple H's shooty promo about how if Cena's team wins Cena gets the credit and if they lose...well its just the guys under Cena's fault was so unintentionally funny. Rest of the show I was flipping back and forth between it and Fast & Loud and then the WWE had to go and remind me football was on. You have to love how desperate the WWE sounds when they do stuff like "what football players are watching on Monday Nights" I really hope the Brie/Nikki thing ends with Brie giving her the beating that Alex Reily gave The Miz. Skipping along to the only part I cared about. RUSEV CRUSH. I'm so conflicted. I shouldn't root for a Russian...but Lana and Rusev are so awesome with their 1980's Nikita tribute act. I wonder if Nikita would do a show for them and just give Rusev a nod of approval. Surely the WWE has cleaned it self up enough for him to associate himself with them.
Ligerbusa Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I guess Xavier Woods becoming just another dancing black guy again means we're definitely not getting a new Nation. Actually, he's totally stealing the Cat's gimmick. Which wouldn't be so bad except for the fact nobody can possibly do the Cat's gimmick better than the Cat did it. He almost single-handedly made Death Era WCW watchable. Uhhhh..James Brown? The Cat never threw fireballs at MC Hammer.

The backstage thing with Nikolai Volkoff was completely awesome - it'd be like a tour of Russian wrestlers giving their thumbs-up to the new generation in Rusev.

DreamBroken Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Another pretty good show like last week. Orton's been great, hope his return as a face continues the crowd pops. Ziggler/Rollins was pretty good too. Ziggler's been having his best few months in a long time. Mizdow was hilarious tonight in both their segments. Liked the show continuing on the Network, hope they use that every now and then at least. Always love when Vince shows up. Wish they'd get one of the legends around for team Cena like Bret at Summerslam 2010 to fill out the team. Rusev/Sheamus was real good stuff. Thought the brief blood was effective in both it's appearances, made the attack on Orton feel a lot more violent.
