Nice Guy Eddie
That "Survivor Series Teams That Almost Happened" Gallery on WWE.com is a real eye opener. Had no idea Akeem was scheduled and missed two straight years. He was injured in '89 and had left the 'E before the 1990 Survivor Series.

Technico Support
That "Survivor Series Teams That Almost Happened" Gallery on WWE.com is a real eye opener. Had no idea Akeem was scheduled and missed two straight years....and I really wished Barry Windham would have stayed on the Kings Court with Savage. Awesome article, thanks! I remember the Graham/Muraco substitution, as well as the bad pre-Photoshop edit to the event marketing materials.
Marty Sugar
Right after the "Survivor Series Teams That Almost Were" is a photo-article on Sole Survivors. The funniest is the random pick of the two dudes that wore the bow ties (were they The Dicks?), holding Orton aloft when he won for Team Smackdown. Stuttsy
Not included in the article, presumably because they were never photographed together, are the original '88 babyface teams: Warrior's original team was himself, Beefcake, Blue Blazer, Sam Houston and Don Muraco. Roberts original team was himself, Duggan, Ken Patera, Tito Santana and JYD. Muraco and JYD both leave the territory in the fall and are replaced by the Killer Bees, with Jim Brunzell on Warrior's team and Brian Blair on Roberts' team. Seeing how they not only did they not make the cut for the 10 tag-team elimination match but were reduced to fill-in substitutions, Blair sees the writing on the wall that the Killer Bees run is over and gives his notice, effectively ending the team and is ultimately replaced on Roberts' team by Scott Casey.
Vincey Greene
So this is Al Snow now- WHAT DOES EVERYBODY WANT? STEROIDS! He did everything in the wrong order.... Get on the juice, get gigantic, go to the WWE, retire, shrink like Michael Strahan. He woulda been a contenda!

The Green Meanie
Regal's dream team from last year still beats anything I've seen anyone else come up with. I would think the internet would explode if this team were ever to exist.

ebbie
If you left Caesaro on and brought into the whole burial shit, you could change the question to "who is the first to win their next match."
mattdangerously
The answer is probably still Bryan.
E.J.
Regal's dream team looks like a bunch of guys this board will hating on for whatever contrarian reason in 2-3 years. ...Who am I kidding this board will never not like Finlay.

Cristobal
Regal seems like he'd just give a shake of his head and be done with said naysayer. Finlay'd break thumbs, of course.
