I'm tired of this internet thing where everyone wants Rusev to win the U.S. title and slap the Russian flag on it. I don't need to be reminded of Lance Storm. Plus, that piece of shit belt is a huge step down. I would say it's like Ric Flair in '91 going after the TV title but sadly that title had way more credibility than this version of the U.S. belt.

It seems like AJ is currently combining all the worst traits of Cena, Orton, and Punk at the same time. She has to be the most uneven performer in company history, she's either out of this world great or completely and utterly awful. There doesn't appear to be any middle ground with her.

Well back in the olden days, the TV Title was still portrayed as being on par with the World Title since it was a World Championship in it's own right. Of course that more to do with Dusty's ego of "well if I'm not gonna be world's champion, I'll just make my own damn belt" and it was a pretty swank one.

 

Personally I think Rusev as United States Champion has so much potential. It could honestly be like Nikita. It's just a shame Putin hasn't fully reformed the Soviet Union. You want mega heat, Rusev tearing off the United States championship plate and putting one with a Hammer & Sickle in it's place especially in a real patriotic town would get some real hate.

Nice little bit of strength shown by Kane to catch Zigler in mid air for the choke slam. Loved Rollins' big smile when Kane announced his match was starting right now (and it's at this point I wished they still referred to "the winners share of the purse", so Rollins could steal the win AND a load of money).

 

I believe "pay window" is the correct term. I will also accept "pay windah!".
