Dolfan in NYC Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 NoC '14 Looks like Rollins-Reigns is off: http://www.wwe.com/shows/nightofchampions/2014/roman-reigns-breaking-news-26669136
Biz Smarkie Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I wish the new version of Invision allowed the second thread title like the previous incarnations of DVDVR. Return of Titty Master would make an awesome second title.
evilwaldo Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Are there any Main Event faces left outside of Cena? They could push Jericho back into that tier but wow is that roster thin at the top on the face side.
Dolfan in NYC Posted September 20, 2014 Author Posted September 20, 2014 Jericho is done after Sunday. He's starting a book and concert tour. Maybe Randall K needs to turn
Matt D Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I have a wager with goc on who wins Cena vs Lesnar. I think it has to be Cena and the whole Summerslam thing was just to get people to renew for NOC, He thought that after Summerslam there was no way they didn't keep it on Lesnar for a while. I'm feeling pretty good about winning here. Loser has to review 5 matches picked by the winner. I'm gracious, of course, so I want people to start thinking of things I can toss at him when he loses. Just in your heads for now.
Ryback Hates Bullies Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Are there any Main Event faces left outside of Cena? They could push Jericho back into that tier but wow is that roster thin at the top on the face side. Ziggler push! Sheamus is their actual emergency main-event babyface though, along with Big Show as special attraction main-event babyface.
Jenalysis Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Why not just do the Ron SImmons-Vader angle with Ambrose, have him put his name in the hat as a surprise- he wins the title on a fluke after being destroyed, then Rollins cashes in. Instant new ME feud.
HumanChessgame Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 With Reigns being out, Rollins could come out and issue an open challenge to anyone in the back, maybe even offer to put the MITB case on the line. Ambrose's music hits, absurd pop ensues, and the resulting match is probably better than what would have been scheduled otherwise.
JCM Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I'm not sure I want a full Ambrose/Rollins match his first night back under regular rules. This feels like it should probably just be a surprise return, brawl, and an Ambrose promo afterwards.
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I wasn't really looking forward to another Reigns/Rollins match. I'm with Matt on Lesnar/Cena. This was all to get Cena's win back which makes Lesnar ending Undertaker's streak even crazier.
Charlie M. Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Seth will cash in so he and Cena can do weeks of horrible comedy.
piranesi Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Reigns has a vaginal mesh in his butt. That's my main takeaway. That and that I know some lawyer numbers he may need down the road.
odessasteps Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Turn Cesaro Or Turn Brock Or bring up Sami
victor Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 They're almost sure to bring back Ambrose if his movie thing is over. They have end Mark Henry's thing with Rusev to move Henry up the card
notoriusvig Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I have to be honest, I'm not that excited for this show. I still can't figure out why they're doing Cena/Brock again, so soon. It'll probably end up as a good match but I still don't care much. I might end up waiting for them to archive the show, and then just watch that match. I find it hard to care about anyone else on the card except maybe Cesaro.
Spritenaut 32 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Are there any Main Event faces left outside of Cena? They could push Jericho back into that tier but wow is that roster thin at the top on the face side. Ziggler push! Ziggler is their "in case of emergency, break glass" push. Granted, with Ziggler's ;luck, that only means Brock would throw him through a window before Cena miraculously healed and came back in record time to wrestle the next PPV.
jaedmc Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I think Lesnar wins and we're getting Austin vs. Lesnar for the title at Wrestlemania. 2
evilwaldo Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Dean is supposed to return tomorrow. I wonder if they have Rollins try to cash in only to have Dean foil it setting up Rollins/Cena and Ambrose/Kane.
Spritenaut 32 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I could see them go either way with the title match, but I tend to think that Cena wins. I mostly feel that, if they weren't planning to put the belt back on Cena, they would have kept him away from Lesnar. It seems odd to have your ace get dominated, immediately spend the month calling out the new champ and cutting promos about redeeming himself, get his rematch immediately, then.... lose. When have they ever treated Cena like that? They've always kept him strong by having him get his heat back pretty quickly. Also, I still don't believe they'd sideline the belt for six more months. Brock just doesn't appear enough on TV (and not at all on the house show circuit). If Brock does win, hopefully the Brock-Reigns WrestleMania title match is just a rumor.
jaedmc Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Didn't Brock agree to more dates for his schedule. And I honestly, I think we're at the point where Lesnar could dominate Cena for 6 straight PPVs, and Cena wouldn't be less over. He's not at that level like Reigns or Ziggler or anyone, where his treatment could kill his career. He's solidly the man. 1
John from Cincinnati Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Well now I sure am pleased we got Reigns vs Rollins on Monday! 2
Charlie M. Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I think Lesnar wins and we're getting Austin vs. Lesnar for the title at Wrestlemania. The Brock-ness Monster! 1
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I'm putting my money on Cena, but I hope Brock wins and we get Brock/Austin at Mania. Still I'm predicting Cena beats Flair 's record by years end, so Brock still has tine to win it like 4 tines before the year is out. Anyway....looking forward to the Ambrose return. I don't even know any other matches on the card.
