That Stephan Bonnar thing tonight with the masked man and "drug addict" remarks has to be one of the worst attempts at trying to bring pro wrestling to MMA since well that phony brawl between Cormier and Jones a month or so ago.

And is knowing that the masked guy was Justin McCully before they told us something that someone with an average MMA IQ should have a clue about

This was such a hilarious show. You've got the TNA World Champion in a fight with pro wrestling clips used to hype it, Mo being wacky, and the Bonnar-Ortiz angle to get the eyeballs there, and the great main event to keep them. Shame the goofiness overshadowed it, but it was an entertaining way to spend two hours.

MMA needs more pro wrestling. UFC is the WWE of MMA, but carries itself like ROH. Bellator is the TNA of American MMA, but is taking pages right out of WWE- we will see how it goes. Stephan Bonnar for the first time ever in his entire career- actually made me give a shit about what he is saying/doing.

That entire fiasco was a mess and the exact opposite of what MMA needs.

Or the best. I have no emotional or intellectual ties to Bellator, so I'm fine with them being ridiculous. Any 'Tito has a massive head' remarks will win me over. Bonnar is so the superior shit-talking Jones/Silva prey compared to Sonnen.
