RonL21
Is the TNA Library really needed to do a proper Sting DVD collection or can they just gloss over the last few years?
Hollywood Cibernetico
A simple switching of promotions is sometimes all that is needed to get the stink of staleness off a wrestler. RVD did it with TNA. Sting is doing it with WWE. I wish Jericho would take the plunge because I cannot stand anymore self-important 1999 re-creations. It was a big deal the first time and MAYBE the second time (depending on who you talk to). But the 3rd, 4th, and 5th? No thank. The fact that Jericho and The Miz look pretty much indential and cut the same promo - is disturbing. Re: Sting Library It depends. What story does WWE want to tell? The story of the guy who came up with The Ultimate Warrior, battled many future champions and legends, and was one of the biggest stars in the second biggest wrestling promotion in the 90's. Or does WWE want to tell the story of a guy way past his prime wrestling at a soundstage and arenas filled with 500 people all the while the commentators scream about how much of a legend he is? I know WCW in the early 90's wasn't exactly a hot bed of money and Sting at-that-time, despite the heavy push, wasn't much of a draw. But there is a different between early 90's WCW and Hogan Era TNA. The majority of Sting's TNA matches have recieved negative reviews. Showing his WCW will actuall make WWE some money. People who have never heard of Sting (kids) will start to love him and will want to see more. TNA Sting will make people glad he didn't show up to WWE all these years and question WHY he is even involved now.
Matt D
Is the TNA Library really needed to do a proper Sting DVD collection or can they just gloss over the last few years? How the heck do you have over 600 posts with questions like that?

AxB
The majority of TNA's matches (and promos, angles, storylines, stables, title runs, T-Shirt designs, Posters, PPVs, TV and house shows) have received negative reviews. Fixed. Oh yeah, I remember what I was going to say. See in the video line-up for the matches at Battleground, they're doing a Tale of the Tape for everyone, showing height, weight, DoB and Hometown? Look at the figures in the metric system. Because last week they had AJ as 1.96 metres and 120 kilos. 6'4", 265 lbs.

Victator
That is the best version of Sting - the dark, creepy, mysterious Crow character. Maybe if you started watching in 1997 and stopped in 98.
MORELOCK
That is the best version of Sting - the dark, creepy, mysterious Crow character. Maybe if you started watching in 1997 and stopped in 98. Nah. Crow Sting is by far the most well known version of the character because it is the only time post-80's that he was booked well, and it happened at a time when WCW was at the height of its popularity. Imagine the 2K15 commercial with Surfer Sting instead. Does it seem stupid? That's because it would have been.

ebbie
I think some of y'all are being too hard on the job the WWE did with Cesaro. Sure, it didn't help that his manager mentioned Brock Lesnar every time he opened his mouth. But Cesaro has little charisma and/or the personality of a cardboard box. Like, he just stood there and watched Heyman gush over Brock. Even a guy like Curtis Axel would be like "YEAH! BROCK!" in the background.

He just isn't allowed to show it on TV. Watch his youtube interview thingies and he is very capable enough to carry himself on the mic. WWE just thinks his accent hinders him from connecting with the fans, which is utter bullshit of course.

Cesaro has plenty of charisma and can talk on the mic. It's been cited numerous times, especially during March Madness. He was getting a huge face reaction, crowds were loving the giant swing, he won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal by tossing out Big Show with ease...so of course lets try to shoehorn him in as a heel with Paul Heyman and have Heyman do a schtick that really only gets Heyman over more as a heel, championing Brock Lesnar's accomplishments, and have Cesaro stand in the background doing fuck all. Cristobal
I think some of y'all are being too hard on the job the WWE did with Cesaro. Which job? They've had him do a lot, recently. *rimshot* Sure, it didn't help that his manager mentioned Brock Lesnar every time he opened his mouth. But Cesaro has little charisma and/or the personality of a cardboard box. Like, he just stood there and watched Heyman gush over Brock. Even a guy like Curtis Axel would be like "YEAH! Zac_Fu
I'm waiting for the flop where they have them drop Cesaro and start using his real name.
Craig H
You know, it is interesting with what's happening to Cesaro because there's a huge Steve Austin type opportunity. Austin debuts as the Ringmaster with the Million Dollar Man as his manager and mouthpiece, and DiBiase really does very little to get Austin over and appears more interested in getting himself over. Austin has a match with Savio Vega where if Austin loses, DiBiase is gone. Austin hits at purposely losing that match to be rid of DiBiase. I think they should do something similar with Heyman and Cesaro.
Zac_Fu
That's the only instance I could ever think of Austin jobbing out to Savio Vega.
Raziel
Nah, its Ambrose that's poised for an Austin like rise. Course, I've been wrong about that like, 234234554 times before.
Craig H
Oh, I totally agree that Ambrose, more than anyone else, could have an Austin-like ascent. Regarding Cesaro, I was mainly thinking of a way to salvage is WWE existence.
Bourdain
This is nonsense. Cesaro has plenty of charisma and can talk on the mic. It's been cited numerous times, especially during March Madness. He was getting a huge face reaction, As a heel at the time that shows....incompetence in his role? crowds were loving the giant swing, completely incongruous with what he and Heyman were attempting to portray he won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal by tossing out Big Show with ease... Wrestlemania crowd i.e. bizarro world so of course lets try to shoehorn him in as a heel with Paul Heyman I love it when being told to perform a role is shoehorning, and when that wrestler fails to garner the reaction required of him it's not that he's shock horror not as good as we think he is but once again the fault of that dastardly creative team GRR VINCE and have Heyman do a schtick that really only gets Heyman over more as a heel, championing Brock Lesnar's accomplishments, then followed by him championing this king of swing who whupped everyones backsides at Wrestlemania.... and have Cesaro stand in the background doing fuck all. Aside from then stepping into the foreground by spending 20 mins in the ring trying to get himself over, yes I agree Cesaro was just sabotaged by a machine that wouldn't let him get over dammit
JonnyLaw
Cesaro has pretty much dropped the Cesaro Swing from his regular arsenal while under Heyman. Great heel tactic, but one of the big things that was giving him a connection with the crowd.

Probably a result of all that porn we knows Ziggler watches and emulates. Now I'm gonna go cool myself down by thinking about sex with King Kong Bundy. Victator
I like how Ebbie is trying desperately not to use the "He's boring" cliche. As a heel at the time that shows....incompetence in his role? Like Steve Austin in 96.
