Maybe it's memory loss linked to PTSD from having played The Marine.On a somewhat related note, The Miz's new catchphrase should be, "I'm the marine, damnit!" 1

Its one thing to bury your opponents when they have credibility like the example of Randy Orton talking smack about Bret Hart and others. Its another when your draw attention to actual issues with a worker that people are working on covering up. Like John Cena coming out and saying, "Boy Russev, you sure are short. I'm not sure I can fight you because I can't punch that low." What good does that do? Ironically, that's a promo I could see Cena doing.

He could try, but I doubt it would be as good. Jacques was gold when came to singing his entrance music. Between All American Boys/I'm the Mountie/We're Not the Mounties, that's pure entrance theme gold. 1
Kyle Casey Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I actually thought that if they wanted to do a double turn with AJ and Paige, instead of Paige being all devastated in the middle of the ring after the match, she should've went full-on psycho. While AJ's doing her little skipping around the ring celebration thing she does, Paige should've intercepted her and just obliterated her. Throw her into the steps, do a Paige Turner on the steps, and lock in the Scorpion Crosslock and just refuse to let go. Just a complete stretcher job. It would've gotten the heel turn across a lot better, and it would build sympathy for AJ, thus cementing her face turn. *shrug* Nobody asked me, though... 1
Raziel Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 They're probably be less hate for the Diva's if it wasn't clearly established that AJ and Paige are lightyears above every other diva on the roster. They're stuck in a holding pattern until they call up Charlotte/Sasha/Bailey/someone else to rebuild, and that's not happening until Total Diva's gets cancelled (because they're not cutting the dead weight they need to, because of that fucking show). Also if they didn't fuck up Emma by sticking her with Santino.

She cut a heel promo saying that their show was stupid and that she was the champion and that's all that matters. 1. All of them were being booked horribly and came off as dicks about having a reality show so the crowd agreed with her 2. AJ beat the ones that could wrestle in competitive wrestling matches because they were booking her as a strong champion C. All of them still have a reality show and are still mostly booked terribly, just like they were before the promo, so who did AJ bury? totes confuses help plz Note: I hated Paige's 2 second win over AJ and I hated AJ's two second win over Paige. Would much rather see a program built around the two that ends in Alicia Fox screaming that she's the queen and dumping Pepsi over both of them so that a dirtsheet wonders if the pepsi is a rib because CM Punk tattoos. 3

Women can draw eyeballs, but they need to be competently booked like Dutch Mantell competently booked them during this time in TNA. Also, they are neglecting their young/tween female audience by not taking advantage of the women on their roster. The BFFs picking on face AJ for being a weird nerd girl seems like a chance to print money from that segment of the crowd, for example. In fact, I would love to see Charlotte and Sasha beating up AJ and then giving her a buzz cut to kick off a feud, and I'm not even in that target audience.

I actually really like this idea. At least giving her a manager would be a good way to extend the feud if the matches are good. Aj beats her squarely, so heel Paige gets herself a cheating manager and takes the title back that way. Right now, there's really only Heyman for that.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if as soon as John Cena gets out one wisecrack Rusev kicks him in the head and locks in the Accolade. These days, the heel just stands there and takes it. Which for a monster heel like Rusev, will kill him. 2
