Brian Fowler Posted June 2, 2014 Share Posted June 2, 2014 Going all the way back to Summerslam '91 LOD vs Nasty Boys, I have always been baffled when a "no dq" tag team match has guys standing on the apron waiting to be tagged in. So that part of the match really didn't work for me. The beatdown probably went a bit long, but it served it's purpose. The comeback/finishing stretch/Shield whips the old men's asses segment was so fucking great though. Cena/Wyatt... FINALLY John has his first legit MOTYC this year, and Bray Wyatt finally has a second notably good singles match. The finish was what it was, but god damn they tore each other apart in the best way. But my lasting memory of this show is definitely going to be saying, out loud to an empty room "What the fuck is Batista wearing?" the moment he came through the curtain. Now if they put him against Bryan which is one rumor then yeah it makes absolutely no sense to lose. We are going to have to wait until tomorrow to really see how much of a waste the finish was Stephanie has been waiting 5 months to bury Punk and boy did she do a great job of it. Big E needs to figure out something new for a big spot because he's done that spear to the floor in like three of his ppv matches now.
