MGFanJay Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Maybe they'll do an elimination match at Summerslam, although that would take a lot of time away from other stuff if it was given adequate time.
The Natural Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 Why is Raw taped this week? Guessing it's an international tour which won't be taping RAW.
Phantom Lord Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Why is Raw taped this week? Guessing it's an international tour which won't be taping RAW. They're going to Australia. There were other spoilers that talked about a backstage segment where Vince was with Maddox before the Cena/Ryback match and Vince says he wants a superstar like Triple H in the main event of Summerslam. I'm going to find it very funny if they made Ryback look like a puss the last couple of weeks only for him to be the new chosen one for Vince.
strummer Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 looks like they are doing Dolph/Kaitlyn v Langston/AJ at Summerslam. Have no idea what they do with the Shield now
The Natural Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 looks like they are doing Dolph/Kaitlyn v Langston/AJ at Summerslam. Have no idea what they do with the Shield now I'm wondering what we'll get as the World Heavyweight Championship match. Del Rio vs. Christian perhaps?
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Smackdown gets taped on Thursday i think. RVD is really getting a pretty solid push. I throw him in thier with Del Rio for the SummerFest WHC match.
JRGoldman Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I would be really in to Vince hand picking Ryback to be the new face of WWE and then bullying the shit out him publicly when he loses and fucks up constantly. 1
Greggulator Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Ryback coming in as his current character (except looking a little stronger than he did against The Miz) and getting pushed into a feud with Cena would have gotten him over the way they intended from the start.
Victator Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Can WWE go one month without having a champion lose a non title match. Or better yet, one month without non title matches. 2
MGFanJay Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Perfectly fine show, but it dragged a lot due to the sheer length of it and a lot of stuff feeling unimportant. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/07/raw-7-29-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/o0iuseydzwbciwcuk1qagadls7z5liqa
rzombie1988 Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I reviewed Raw with pics and gifs here:http://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2013/07/wwe-monday-night-raw-7292013-results.htmlOverall thoughts: I didn't like this show. I hate the McMahon/DB/Cena storyline and all of the matches had stupid finishes. The show also dragged. Some shots from the show:
caley Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 That Ryback bullies backstage guys at the catering table was funny, but why exactly was someone filming random guys eating?!
DylanWaco Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I agree that the show dragged and it suffered from not being live and me having read the spoilers. But as a wrestling show? Well it had several good/enjoyable matches so I'm not going to bitch. That was easily the best Christian has looked since his return in particular. My biggest criticism of the show was repeating the finish from Bryan/Cesaro in the Kane match. I hate that kind of shit
Hooks Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 That Ryback bullies backstage guys at the catering table was funny, but why exactly was someone filming random guys eating?! Also funny...........from different guys I've known who had tryouts or dark matches, etc, WWE has AMAZING catering......just tons of great food. But when portrayed on TV, it's a small table with a loaf of bread and some mayo and cold cuts.
Hagan Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I like that they're setting up the small package as a finisher for Bryan. Wyatt family is great. I wonder if this leads to Kane joining the group and falling under Bray's spell?
Rev Ray Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I wonder if it was intentional or unintentional comedy to have the RVD recap segment sponsored by "We're the Millers" 2
The Damn Yeti Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 They didn't re-use the finish at all. Mr. Small Package is simply establishing his new finishing maneuver. It's going to lead to at least two awesome near-falls at SS.

I wonder if this leads to Kane joining the group and falling under Bray's spell? My wife's reaction to things often distills what I think a lot of people might be thinking or sometimes what I've been thinking but couldn't quite articulate. When the Wyatt's cam out, she was super into their entrance and stopped what she was doing to watch and wanted to know who they were. As soon as the lights came up, she said, "Oh, well." and disappeared immediately back into wherever she was before. It seems there's just no way they can keep the world of the Wyatts going once the lights come up and they're in the ring. At that point, what they are actually doing is hardly different than say Right to Censor or something.

Yeah, the company that handles WWE's catering is how I've managed to get backstage for a couple of events, and I got a good laugh out of this. They have to be ribbing Ryback. Does everything he is involved in have to revolve around food?
Gonzalez Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I didn't get the quacking by Nikki at first, but now it all makes sense... 1
nate Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 That Ryback bullies backstage guys at the catering table was funny, but why exactly was someone filming random guys eating?!Wedding reception? Also funny...........from different guys I've known who had tryouts or dark matches, etc, WWE has AMAZING catering......just tons of great food.
