Yeah not really a story since it was already common knowledge. Maybe now with audio it will force the league to do something. He has been pretty open with his n-bombs though and it has been ignored. Does Adam Silver politely ask Sterling to stay away? This is why the NHL has it right with the trophy presentation. The owner may or may not be there in the crowd of people but he's never focused on. The NBA and NFL have the total rich "we own these people" vibe of awarding the trophy to the owner after the players did all the work. I'm assuming this was leaked by the girlfriend to TMZ (which btw, their site nearly killed my computer!). Poor Larry Bird's name always seems to get dragged into racism conversations within NBA circles. She's half black/half Mexican, so I guess while Donald Sterling is racist, his penis isn't, so your typical old guy racist. Also, I like how the conversation ends with her asking him what she could do to make him feel better and he sounds like a guy who ya' know, pretends like there is nothing she can't do. I'd guess this is the type of phone conversation that is common in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, etc. Will be part of a horrible porn parody someday titled "Its not Real Basketball Wives".
