Kevin Wilson
No idea why it took so long for this to float upon the Internet, but here it finally is! For all background you could ever want, I have no idea who made this long detailed wikipedia page. I think its the longest I've ever seen for one puroresu event. Matches are split up, grab what ya want: 2. Kikutaro vs. Ryota Hama3. Manabu Soya and Seiki Yoshioka vs. Ryouji Sai and KAZMA SAKAMOTO4. Satoshi Kojima vs. Yasufumi Nakanoue5. WRESTLE-1 vs. TNA: Minoru Tanaka and Koji Kanemoto vs. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian6. Gail Kim vs. Madison Rayne7. WRESTLE-1 vs. TNA: Yoshihiro Takayama vs. Abyss8. WRESTLE-1 vs. TNA: Masakatsu Funaki vs. Bobby Roode9. WRESTLE-1 vs. TNA: Keiji Mutoh, Taiyo Kea, and Rob Terry vs. Samoa Joe, Masayuki Kono and René Duprée10. TNA World Tag Team Championship: Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards vs. Robbie E and Jessie Godderz vs. Kaz Hayashi and Shuji Kondo11. TNA X-Division Championship: Austin Aries vs. Seiya Sanada12. TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Magnus vs. KAI First match wasn't available, no idea if it was shown on the broadcast or if it was a dark match. Kevin Wilson
Just got done watching it. For like 8,000 words you can read my full review over at my website, but the basic gist is that the event overall was pretty average. I think the wrestlers weren't familiar with each other and aren't experienced/skilled enough to put together an entertaining match with someone they don't know well. Most of the TNA/W-1 matches were just kinda basic. Not bad, just uninspired, although the matches with the old vets were generally better. I was really looking forward to Aries/Sanada which apparently was foolish as that match wasn't any good. Sad face.
