Matt D
I'm honestly okay with people under thirty not knowing what Max Headroom is. I'm just not okay with people on this fucking board not knowing.

JonnyLaw
Realizing people here are too young to have remembered Johnny B Badd was pretty good by the mid 90s is what made me feel old. I was pretty pumped for his jump to WWE when it happened.

southofheavy
Randy Anderson was a fucking awesome ref and probably drank a lot of beer.  Tommy Young, Brian Hildebrand...beyond that, ya got me.
Fallacy!
There's some pretty cool pictures on WWE's Instagram. A couple that just caught my eye are pics taken of the Gorilla position from NXT Arrival. Triple H is on the headset, I guess doing what Vince usually does for RAW/PPV's. But also in the room with him are Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Paul Heyman.. and Joey Mercury. Â I'm sure there's others not pictured, but I would fucking love to have been a fly on the wall in that room during the Cesaro/Zayn match.

JustJay
Didn't Bray save Bo in NXT after someone insulted Bo's father? Not quite acknowledging they are brothers, but leaning heavily on it anyway.  No clue if he did that or not but if they did that is awesome.  The Rotundo family is an odd case in wrestling that I don't think their dad has been mentioned by name on air(didn't watch a lot of NXT when the Wyatts were there) and that they didn't throw the brothers together. With how the WWE is with second generation stars and family, I guess they got lucky and carved out a niche of their own.  As I love Bo's character and Bray is one of the more entertaining acts every week.

Josh Mann
Tommy Young, Charles Robinson, Bill Alfonso, Brian Hildebrand  Honorable Mention: Danny Davis, Joey Marella, Pee Wee Anderson  I would say Bronko Lubich but to compare him to a block of granite would be redundant.

Die the same day as Misawa - no one notices  People talk about great refs and no one cares about you Ted Tanabe is dead?!   Yup - the day after Misawa died, Tanabe had a heart attack while referring the main event match for Osaka Pro and then passed away the next morning. Obviously - with all the Misawa stuff almost no one saw it

Lacelle
Mike Atkins is my all time favorite ref, he'd be my George Washington. I'd also throw Tommy Young, Randy Anderson & Mark Curtis in there.
nate
what the fuck is Max HeadroomOnly Matt Frewer's shining moment. Someone clearly hasn't seen The Stand. I have seen the Stand. I "stand" by my original comment. Although "Doctor Doctor" is equally deserving of high regard. And yes, his Trashcan Man is quite entertaining. But ... I mean, Max Headroom! That's "decade-defining" work; if Chikara were mine for a day, Max Headroom would be the new Director of Fun.
