Marty Sugar
After only 10 days, I'm showing marked improvement with this concussion. Instead of being off work six weeks, it might be only three or four. Good news, indeed: Poppa has bills to pay, and I won't go back to stripping. I. Just. Won't.

Burgundy LaRue
Most parents try to keep their kids off the poles. Marty's daughters have to do the reverse.
Marty Sugar
As long as the girls get ice cream and trinkets from the dollar store, they don't really care where my money comes from. This is the world we live in, now...
piranesi
Damn right. You better work what God gave you dad. Those pogs aren't going to climb into your window on their own. Now TURN OUT before you BURN OUT! Pogs are back, right? Also, I just made that pimp slogan up myself. I claim it.
Marty Sugar
Do we have to refer to you as "A Pimp Named Piranesi" now? I'm cool with that...

Cliff Hanger
Just got back from an expensive shopping trip, phase one of Operation New Wardrobe. Weight loss necessitated it, but this isn't going there because it's not really about that. It's about the fact that I finally have some friendly input from people more fashion-conscious than my blind ass or my dad and I can actually look a little more like I give a damn. Tabe
This could easily go in the sports forum but I think it belongs here instead. Thanks to the magic of Ebay, and a good friend looking out for me, I have acquired the actual game jersey that my brother-in-law wore for his brief time with the Durham Bulls (yes, the team from the movie) in 1990. Players don't usually get to keep their stuff so to have this back in our family 23 years later is just awesome!

Andrew POE!
I got hired today to work part-time as IT support for a government agency. The way it sounds though with the job, it could very easily turn into a full-time job.
Marty Sugar
Got cleared by my doctor to return to work, after the concussion. Still have headaches but they're lessening. Minor issue with remembering people's names, but again...minimal. First shift back is Sunday, and full-time the Sunday after that.
