MGFanJay
She's been on Spring Stampede 97 and World War 95 so far in my random check of stuff tonight. Michael Buffer lives on the Network! I forgot how good the WCW World Title looked on Savage - usually, smaller guys didn't look good with it, but even '95 Macho looks fantastic with it. Christ almighty could Hogan be anymore of a whiner after the results of the WW 3 match. His buddy wins and HE JUST BITCHES AND MOANS AND WHINES AND COMPLAINS. Petey
Rumor has it that at the end of the free trial they're adding SNME & the Clashes! Between those and the rumor about them planning to add all the old MSG house shows over the next several months... I'm legit blown away. This is great. Also seems like there's less dubbing with The Network than there was with Classics on Demand. I'm so happy.
muhammedboehm
Justin Credible and Jerry Lynn are two guys who couldn't get over anywhere but ECW. Justin Credible, because he sucks, and Jerry Lynn because he has the charisma of a soggy bath mat. Credible, who is about as bland as the back end piece of a loaf of Wonder bread is surrounded by Jason, who I forgot existed, Nicole Bass, who I wish I forgot existed, and Chastity, who I don't think I ever knew existed. This was a fun little match, thanks mostly to Jerry Lynn, but Justin Credible gets the win.I started to watch Spring Stampede '99 and guess who showed up? Chastitiy, this is two shows in a row, that I know I've seen before, but I have no recollection of her at all. I believe in WCW she was Ravens sister...who let it slip that Raven was really just a spoiled rich boy
ivpvideos
Vader vs Shamrock from an IYH is just ridiculous with the stiffness. Also had a crazy spot of Vader picking up shamrock for a vertical suplex, then dropping him straight to the ground with it.
hammerva
I should be embarassed to say this but Rob Bartlett doing an impersonation of Vince on commentary of the RAW 1993 show is really damn funny. Maybe what makes it funny is Gorilla's and Heenan complete hatred of being part of it.

hammerva
Nasty Boys and the Headshrinkers trying to recreate a memphis concession stand brawl was good fun Nasty Boys talking to kids about the dangers of smoking. Pete
Starrcade 1983 note - I love the cheesy graphics for the Crockett guys during the intros. Wrestling needs more cheesy graphics like that. The Great ML
Tons and tons of Raw shows are in the replay section now. Watching the one from Jan 98...Michaels was on fire trolling Taker fans the night after the casket match.
Bustronaut
Is there something I can watch that doesn't make the Freebirds seem like the nerdiest kids pretending to be cool? Am I forever soured against them because my first exposure was the abortive "I'm a Freebird, what was your excuse" performance? sydneybrown
You'll probably need to wait until they get to the heel turn on the World Class episodes. They had some awesome interviews with Bill Mercer that will probably change your opinion of them.

I believe in WCW she was Ravens sister...who let it slip that Raven was really just a spoiled rich boy Yeah, I remember that angle. I think the thing that is going to be great with the Network is going to be the rediscovery of some of the more obsure people that I just plain forgot about. While watching Heatwave 98, I really didn't believe I had ever seen her before, but Spring Stampede made me realize that I'd probably seen her 50 times. I may have seen Blitzkrieg 10 times, and Make a Difference Fatu probably twice, and I remember them fine, Chastity was just forgotten. When did Marlena debut with Golddust, she wasn't with him at Survivor Series 95. I could have sworn she was around from the beginning of his run, but she was nowhere to be found. sydneybrown
The Rumble was Marlena's debut, and I think the reason that Chastity was just a blip was that WCW discovered her previous career in porn and canned her.
pipGofern
The Rumble was Marlena's debut, and I think the reason that Chastity was just a blip was that WCW discovered her previous career in porn and canned her. Yeah, Chastity didn't last long in WCW. I think she was only around for a few months or so (probably less than six) before it was discovered she had done a couple porn scenes. The story as I recall was Bischoff was pushing WCW as the Family Friendly alternative to the raunchy WWF so he had to fire her to save face. Which was pretty hypocritical when Macho came back shortly thereafter and brought Gorgeous George with him. The whole Sandman-Raven-Chastity angle Raven was setting up in WCW would've been pretty awesome if 2/3 of them hadn't gotten fired and Piper hadn't been a dick. supremebve
Wait, someone looked at any of the women hanging around ECW and was surprised that there may have been some questionable pictures/videos out there? Were they surprised that DDP used to run, what I'm going ahead and assume that they were sleazy, nightclubs? Did they think that Hulk Hogan's Thunder in Paradise hair was real? Did they think Disney named Space Mountain after Ric Flair? Did they think Parts Unknown was a real place? Did they really doubt El Dandy?

Maybe what makes it funny is Gorilla's and Heenan complete hatred of being part of it. THANK YOU. I've been saying this. It is the force annoying enough to unite the Brain and Gorilla. Amazing episode. As for Marlena, apparently WWE had taken some massive heat over Goldust in the weeks before the Rumble so the idea was that 1.) Marlena coming in was a way to soften his edge and 2.) this is when they started pushing mind games over blatant homosexuality.
Mister Daddy Warlord
Was watching the Raw from 98, with Austin riding the Zamboni. I noticed during that segment Vince had the "Winged Eagle" belt in the ring. I remember they'd switched to the newer belt 6 months before, on the Raw after Wrestlemania 14. And I don't remember ever seeing the older belt on TV again. Did it ever show up again, other than that one time?
