FEBRUARY WRESTLING DISCUSSION

RIPPA

Zeb interacting to Real American playing would be great. Despite what he said on Inbox, I think he knows the song, dammit.

Zeb/Hogan is pretty much the summit of what we can expect at Mania.

I'm no Hogan fan, but if he could give the rub to Claudio if he were to turn face at Mania, i'd be all for it.

So, how fucking amazing was Nick Bockwinkel?

I went on a bit of a Bockwinkel binge last night and watched him vs. Lawler in Memphis and the hour broadway with Hennig at the Showboat. Jesus, the guy was amazing on the mic, bumped like a champ, had a great mat game, killer conditioning, AND was amazing into his early 50's. He really was like Ric Flair before Ric Flair was Ric Flair. I'd also say that, at the top of his last big run, he was a better Ric Flair than Ric Flair.

Two facts about Nick Bockwinkel:

1) He was never not awesome.

2) He was 49 years old when he came out of the womb.

Those who say Bock was never not awesome have completely forgotten his time as WCW President which sucked major dong

it was weirdly amusing how they had a middle-management lawyer handling decisions in late 1995 and how they probably didn't mention that Bockwinkel was no longer Commissioner of WCW at any point

And Demolition pretty much guarantees I'll pick this one up.

Actually, I'm way more interested in these matches than the main disc ones. I have no recollection of that Goldust match. In my memory, he went straight from HHH to the Lawler feud.
