Ramsey
And I am NOT disrespecting BW at all. One of my all time favorite wrestlers EVER. When I was a young true believer I was devastated that he would cast his lot with the evil Four Horsemen. Although it's considered borderline sacrilege in some circles, I'd almost rather watch Flair vs. Windham than Flair vs. Steamboat.
Web Conn
That match between Flair and Barry that went an hour on TV in 87 that was featured on the first Ric Flair DVD is one of my favorite matches ever.

Web Conn
I was watching the 96 Suvivor Series match the one where the Rock Debuted and won I noticed a mustached Windham in army pants and combat boots. I didnt even know he was in the WWF in 96 what was he doing?
Brian Fowler
The Stalker. Gimmick he hated.
Ramsey
I wasn't really watching wrestling at that point but I think that's when he was working as "the Stalker" or some such thing.
Reed
Meltzer reported that Angle's MRI showed his ACL is totally gone. Like, he's been wrestling without one. Most cases I would say, 'No frigging way! That's not even possible!" But this is Kurt Angle we're talking about.
Cobra Commander
so he can no-sell knee-attack moves now? "ha ha, I don't have an ACL, your Figure-Four doesn't effect me!"

Greggulator
At one point in time, the ultimate DVDVR sin was to blaspheme the name of KENDALL Windham.
Web Conn
So what did The Stalker do? it seemed to be militant themed.
Ramsey
Is it possible that Angle has used so many chemicals that he's becoming some sort of super-human. You know, Hulk and gamma rays, Superman and the rays of a yellow sun, Chevy Chase and cocaine...

Didn't Stone Cold tell Victoria she could wrestle with just the knee brace so she wouldn't have to get the ACL surgery? It is so Kurt Angle to wrestle with no ACL. That "what, I tear my quad all the time...I did it yesterday" line is becoming painfully true.
Web Conn
Angle broke his neck and injected Novicane into it before every match for like a month and got surgery only after he took Olympic gold. Angle has always been crazy.

Matt D
I love the story of how Windham just started dressing more and more in his old gear until Vince saw him backstage in cowboy boots one day.

Hooks
So what did The Stalker do? it seemed to be militant themed. I may have told this story on this board before, but I was there live for the In Your House: Buried Alive PPV. There was a dark match that featured Justin Hawk Bradshaw vs. The Stalker. But by this time, Barry seemed to give not one single fuck and came to the ring wearing a WWF T shirt, tennis shoes, and orange camouflage Zubaz looking pants. Being a big Barry Windham fan, that was kind of a bummer to see.
cool arrow
Pretty sure that was the gear he wore at the Survivor Series where Rock debuted, except the pants weren't orange.

Oddly most other guys that recieved massive overhalls didn't bother me.
cool arrow
The Widowmaker was fine, because it was basically Windham doing his heel character from WCW. The Stalker was just a vaguely-defined character anybody could've played.
Reed
Kurt will probably only stop wrestling when he's dead. And I say probably because Zombie Kurt doing a wrestling comeback isn't entirely out of the question.
mattdangerously
Angle doesn't need an ACL. Angle just gives himself a pep talk before every match. That's how powerful his pep talks are. Just ask Jessie Sorenson.
