Reed
Some new ones that occurred to me: Mickey Rourke in Sin City. I don't rate Sin City well. It's basically Noir for Dummies. And the sequel looks to be the same going by the trailer. But Rourke is the highlight by far. He's playing an actual person; everyone else is just playing a caricature Also, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber's homeschooling skit.in Movie 43 is far and away the highlight of the movie. It's almost surreal how, in amongst all these awful cringe-worthy sketches, there's actually one that's excellent. Ashley Bell was much better in The Last Exorcism films than they honestly deserved. Reed
After watching The Phantom Menace again (unfortunately) as part of a Star Wars marathon thingy, I am going to add Ray Parks as Darth Maul to this thread. Barely any screen-time. Little dialogue. But, dear God, did he make a hell of an impression. His physical charisma is off the charts. He genuinely did seem like the scariest man ever. Worse than Darth, perhaps. He didn't even need a mask. Shame Parks never did much after it.
