The first AJ/Joe/Daniels triple threat. Joe & AJ also had a great match in the finals of some X-Division tournament. Remember when the X Division had more than two guys in it at a time?

Kurt VS Nigel/Wolfe was awesome too.

I wish more "David vs Goliath" matches started off with David throwing himself at the giant before the match starts. Like you know this guy can squash you like the little piss-ant you are, why not go balls to the walls? I also loved that that fucking finish felt like a finish to a huge match. So many times, TNA didn't do a satisfying finish and it just felt like they were just done with the match. AJ being so desperate as to bite Abyss's thumb to escape being chokeslam'd is what I want to see out of a babyface fighting for HIS LIFE.

Plus, the ending was so good, they re-did it with Christian and Abyss a year later.

Raven: Have you had enough?

Sean Waltman: GIVE ME MORE, YOU PUSSY!

And I pretty much love any match with AMW sans that Lockdown match..

Boddy Roode vs. Austin Aries from Destination X 2012.

Annnnnnnnnnnnd that was the last chance TNA had to get things on track with a champion people were actually talking about.

That went well. ;(

Might be my all time favorite TNA match (and moment). Loved that late 2011 through 2012 period for TNA. Aries' rise to the top really felt like a star was being made for TNA at the time.

I remember really enjoying the Hamada/Alissa Flash vs. Gail Kim and the girl that was her tag team partner for a while on the first Monday Night episode of Impact.

That was Hamada/Kong vs Sarita & Taylor but yeah awesome match.

Hamada had an awesome little run of great matches in TNA. Sarita did a lot of good too. Miss them being around. Also kind of miss Dave Penzer's ring announcing.

Hamada vs Taylor Wilde in one of my favorite under 3 minute matches ever and a real good Hamada/Roxxi match. Crowd always got in to her matches. Hamada rules

Good shout on Gail/Taryn posted above.. one of my absolute favorite matches of 2013 and my top favorite from TNA.

Jeff Jarrett & AMW vs Rhino & Team 3D Genesis 2005

GOOD CALL.  I thought of this match after I posted my Raven/Monty Brown pick; I have nothing but love for this match, for some strange reason.  There was a stretch where Jarrett was in these fun, random-pairing main event tag matches, and this was by far the best of them.

Since you took my pick for today, I'll throw in Jarrett vs. Christian, where Christian wins the NWA title.  Even though the match may not be the most technically sound, the environment that was there when the match was over was really fun.

2005 was the best year TNA had.

I would argue that 2007 was but it really is between 05 and 07

'04 and '05 had Team Canada, and more specifically Coach D'Amore FUCKING EVERYWHERE on TV, but '07 had tons and tons and tons of Russo garbage amid some really good things that couldn't really gain traction due to Russo's shit.
