RandomAct
I'm pumped for Wrestlemania 75 though.

mco543
Holy shit what an evening this was. I can't wait for next year when this ceremony gets inducted. It was nice to see Warrior come out and act like a sane, normal, 50+ year old father but a part of me wishes it would've been an hour of lunacy to top off a night that was chock full of sheer insanity. We need times on these speeches, I need to know how long Warrior, Lita, and T went.
Cristobal
Yeah he really lost the crowd with all that shooty stuff. The bit with the check was a total "Get your squeegee, Sid" moment. Uh, scissors?
TheVileOne
What annoys me more, after this, they will spend another hour during WrestleMania plugging the Hall of Fame Inductees. Like at WrestleMania 25, Stone Cold Steve Austin had his big tribute and goodbye, and then he did it all over again the next night at WrestleMania. It's just...I get it, but let's get on with it already.
Niners Fan in CT
So the new thing on Twitter is digging up pictures of wrestlers in jerseys because Warrior said they don't wear them? Like Warrior was actually watching those bullshit RAWs..

Cristobal
Twitter is Twitter, but there's more than simple pedantry going on here. Warrior's point was bullshit. Wrestlers aren't sports fans?
Petey
I fell asleep during Warrior's speech but from what I heard, it sounded like Warrior was giving a speech at a college commencement ceremony.
nofuture
I fell asleep during Warrior's speech but from what I heard, it sounded like Warrior was giving a speech at a college commencement ceremony. It was more like a TED talk about why the Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior DVD was inaccurate.
Cobra Commander
wouldn't Warrior's TED talk be about harnessing your inner ultimate warrior?
Fallacy!
re: that whole Lita/Arn Anderson/Rey Mysterio story I'm pretty sure Arn only facilitated that meeting because he figured Lita was a cute ring rat who wanted to get up to Rey's hotel room.

Niners Fan in CT
Twitter is Twitter, but there's more than simple pedantry going on here. Warrior's point was bullshit. Wrestlers aren't sports fans? I believe his point was you don't see wrestlers walking around with the Lombardi trophy but you do see other athletes rocking the Big Gold. His point was that wrestling is fucking awesome, mainstream and that even athletes sometimes wish they could be wrestlers. Why do we have to pretend that we don't know what he was trying to say? Maybe he didn't articulate it as well as Twitter would have liked but it wasn't an indecipherable language either. It's obvious where he was going with it.

Valcourt
The jersey argument is like saying "He wore a Tampa Bay Rays Hat!" From what I got from Warrior is when sports folks act like other genres, a basketball guy doesn't act like a football guy. They all act like wrestlers. Cristobal
Dude. You bitched about people "pretending not to know what he said" after pretending it was solely about the Lombardi Trophy and the WWE belt. Maybe you can't recognize you're full of shit, but I assure you it's quite apparent to the rest of us.
DerangedHermit
Didn't we want weirdness for a Warrior speech? Next year, get rid of the comedy BS. The only comedy thing I marked out for was Kane ending Mr. T's speech.

Valcourt
Whatever, I think a lot of people are taking what he said way differently than how he meant it. This is why live chats don't work during shows. Also, I have no idea who the guy you referenced is. And I won't act like i do.
