jstout Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 I think I paid $10 for the downloadable version of Borderlands 2 for Xbox. I played it a little the night GTA 5 Online was down - I gotta get into it some more. SO dang much DLC - maybe by the time I get to the point where I'd actually want any of it, it'd be $1 apiece or something. Took me forever to figure out how to change guns - I'd keep picking up new guns and then constantly asking "where'd they go? What happened?"
Big Fresh Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 One day I will get back to playing Borderlands 2. Aaron does not talk to us anymore on Live Chat since he is all XBox One with the cool kids and stuff. Can 360 players do party chat with One players?
RIPPA Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 The 5th and Final Headhunter pack hit yesterday God - so much unplayed DLC. Of course - I don't think I have enough hard drive space to download it all
J.T. Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I have not played this game in what seems like decades.
Big Fresh Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 You can skip the Headhunter packs. They aren't good.
Andrew POE! Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Just a heads up, it's possible that next month when Gamespy's servers shut down, you will lose access to multiplayer for Borderlands. If you haven't gotten the Platinum or 1000/1000 Gamerscore for it yet, you would need to do so soon!
Kevin Wilson Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Borderlands 1 can be played through GameRanger (I realize reddit isn't the best source but it is on the GameRanger official website too. That list just looks prettier and is posted by the guy that runs GameRanger.), so y'all should be good to go for going after those Platinum Trophies
Andrew POE! Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Well, it's official: Borderlands on PS3 will lose multiplayer support on May 31st. If you haven't gotten your Platinum for this or for Civilization Revolution, you may want to soon.
RIPPA Posted May 28, 2014 Author Posted May 28, 2014 Yeah - I am not thrilled about the whole "constant worrying about running out of air" bit
odessasteps Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I was thinking of finally getting Borderlands2 the other day but saw the GOTY edition is still $40
Red is Dead Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Honestly - not worth it. Theres not much difference between 1 and 2. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed both. But preferred one.
Big Fresh Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I respectfully disagree. I think Borderlands 2 is a massive improvement and one of my favorite games ever. Well worth $40.
J.T. Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 PEW, PEW MOTHER FUCKER~! The thought Nisha the Lawbringer and Athena from General Knox as playable characters brings the funny feeling.
Red is Dead Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Taste the nietszchian inner conflict motherfucker... BL2 GOTY bought. less than 20 quid on amazon...
RIPPA Posted September 18, 2014 Author Posted September 18, 2014 And you can already look at the skills trees
J.T. Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 If Boogie In Zero Gravity by Black Strobe doesn't find its way from the GTA 5 soundtrack to the Pre-Sequel music list, it will be a missed opportunity.
Hail Sabin Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Anyone planning on picking up Borderlands the pre-sequel on release date for the PS3 so we can organize a co-op playthrough ?
Zimbra Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I'll be getting it for PS3 on release day, but I'm not sure how much time I'll have to play during that week.
Hail Sabin Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 That's fine just let me know when you would be available to play.
RIPPA Posted October 10, 2014 Author Posted October 10, 2014 GOD DAMMIT GEARBOX!!! Don't send me more shift codes. Ugh... the urge to play this and the pre-sequel is growing mighty. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH HOURS IN THE DAY!!!
Chaos Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I might play some Borderlands 2 this weekend, since I have just turned back on my Xbox live and I'm only past the beginning of the game.
Robert C Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 GOD DAMMIT GEARBOX!!! Don't send me more shift codes. Ugh... the urge to play this and the pre-sequel is growing mighty. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH HOURS IN THE DAY!!! The required hours in my day to play the pre-sequel will be cleared by putting Destiny in a box and letting it gather dust, I think. That game is really starting to feel like work. Borderlands 1 & 2 are many things, but they never feel like that.
