Some additional snippets:

"...fairy-tale musical...."

"Based on the Israeli series...."

"Based on a Scandinavian format...."

"....three teenage girls in a small town who star in a pornographic film...."

"In the spirit of How I Met Your Mother, it tells the story from a female point of view. A brand-new story with new characters and a new voice at its center."

"Michelle Trachtenberg"

"...maverick female Secretary of State..."

"...centered around quadruplets -- three brothers and a sister -- who grew up on a reality show...

"Untitled Kevin Williamson drama"

"Will Forte stars as the last man on Earth."

"...seductive concubines..."

"Based on the Turkish series...."

"A workplace ensemble comedy in the tone of Anchorman that is set in 1962...."

"iZombie....based on the DC Comics title...W/EP Rob Thomas"

So Kevin Williamson wrote a show in which Michelle Trachtenberg plays a maverick female secretary of state (for Israel) struggling to raise quadruplets in the public spotlight and hoping to find and remarry the man who is their father.  The story is told in flashback to the quadruplets by Wil Forte in a series of musical numbers from a Scandinavian bunker where he and the children are the last people on earth following a war with an army of turkish concubines infected with the zombie virus..

Didn't Jennifer Lopez already do a romantic comedy film using artificial insemination already?  Old hat.

At the very least, the Gotham show made me aware of the comic book series, which I will check out soon.

Will Forte's "Last Man On Earth" comedy might ruined any potential Y: The Last Man adaptation.  Weird.

For those freaking out about Jane the Virgin, here is (spoilers) Wikipedia's description of the telenovela on which it is based:

17-year old Juana Perez (played by Daniela Alvarado) gets pregnant by artificial insemination due to hospital error. The father of the baby is found to be Mauricio de la Vega (played by Ricardo Álamo). When Mauricio finds out that he's going to have a baby, he starts to fall in love with Juana despite the fact that he is still married to Carlota Vivas (played by Roxana Díaz). Carlota tries everything possible to keep Mauricio and Juana separated.

I actually had to check to make sure that was not a storyline on Passions.

But it wasn't surprising, unforeseen or ACCIDENTAL. I really can't stress ACCIDENTAL enough, it's the crux to the whole series.

This was clearly no accident. They're just not ready to drop the backstory on us just yet.

Logline: Centers on a successful and suave ladies man whose perfect life is turned upside down when his mess of a cousin needs a place to stay.

Let me guess: wackiness ensues.

Logline: Centers on newly single 35-year-old Katie (Psych's Maggie Lawson), who drunkenly books a wedding venue and is now faced with the task of meeting the right man in the right time.

Can't she just, I don't know, cancel it? Pretty sure they let you do that.

Logline: Centers on a lesbian who gets pregnant just as her straight male best friend meets and marries the love of his life.

Yeah, what exactly is the conflict here?

Logline: Based on the Israeli format The Gordin Cell, the drama is a thriller that revolves around the O'Connor family and their son, Alex (Gavin Stenhouse), a decorated American war hero and CIA analyst who is a true patriot and loves his country and family. Unbeknown to him, both of his parents (Hope Davis) and sister (Margarita Levieva) are part of a dormant Russian sleeper cell that has just been reactivated.

Good timing, if nothing else.

And will she ever find the right man?

I love how the wife is a bad guy for trying to stop her husband from cheating on her.

Anyway, does that really need spoilers? Even if it somehow manages to get picked up, I doubt this forum is going to be full of devoted Jane: The Virgin fans who anticipate every episode like it's the next coming of Breaking Bad.  You can't spoil something no one is going to watch.

A show who gives the world ACCIDENTAL ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION deserves our full, undivided attention. If fuckin' Police Academy gets its own thread, you can bet your sweet ass this magnificent piece of polaroid will get one too.

Well 12 year olds today aren't like 12 year olds before

Gordon: Damn, that mugger got away!

Bruce: Oh, it's OK. I got a photo of him on my phone! I'll put it up on twitter and see if anyone recognizes him!

Bruce Wayne: Social Justice Redditor

Logline: The drama revolves around New York City's best medical examiner Dr. Henry Morgan (Ringer's Ioan Gruffudd), who studies the dead for a reason -- he is immortal.

Logline: The drama is a race against the clock to defeat an unseen alien enemy out to destroy the world using the Earth's most precious resource: children.

These are gag shows, right?  Right?

I'd like to think children are the "world's most precious resource", but these are the same people who like Justin Bieber and Bratz dolls.

So, yeah.

Watched the first episode of Bates Motel's season 2. Yeah, pretty sure Dylan is the only character who's not totally batshit insane.

Dylan is really too good for these people. I just want to tell him to get on his motorbike and get as far away as possible.
