2014 UPCOMING MOVIES/CASTING/TERRIBLE PROJECTS...

I'll never forgive Lars von Trier for(without warning) sneaking in a shot of Willem Dafoe penetration using the Phantom Camera in the first 5 minutes of Antichrist.

It wasn't actually Dafoe's junk. They hired porn actors for that specific shot.

Also, Von Trier is awesome, so fuck you guys. Whether I like his films or not, I value his bravery in pushing the envelope.

Yeah, but pushing the envelope is basically all he can do. He's got nothing of substance to offer beyond shock tactics.

I don't remember if this was posted here or not, but promotional posters for Von Trier's Nymphomaniac. http://insidemovies.ew.com/2013/10/10/nymphomaniac-posters/ I hit Udo Kier's and absolutely fell out laughing.

Takes you back to a time in porn history in which the least sexiest and/or people you don't want to see naked anyway.

Are there any new sports films coming out this year? I only ask because I am watching Blue Clips right now.

I think the only Von Trier I've seen is Melancholia, and I don't think that had much in the way of shock tactics.  And it had substance.

Not as big of a name movie but there is also When the Game Stands Tall which is about the California High School football team that won like a billion games in a row.

It is starring Jesus and Laura Dern and Michael Chiklis

Talk about showing 90% of the movie in the trailer, and usually I don't complain about that sort of thing.  At least the acting should be solid with Jackson and Cooper.

No kidding.  They gave away waaaaaaay too much of the movie there.  I'm highly intrigued by it but geez, save some twists for the theater!

So what other anime from the anime section of Blockbuster should be turned into a live-action movie next?

I'm crossing my fingers for Ninja Resurrection. You know the fake sequel to Ninja Scroll that features an old man finger fucking a woman after he severed his finger.

A 9 minute trailer? No thanks.

Just to be fair - its a 2 minute trailer, then clips of the movie afterwards.

Don't ask me why the uploader just called it a trailer

KITE? Really?  Gunsmith Cats is right fucking there, Sam, begging to be an action blockbuster.

Why is Channing Tatum not in Bean Bandit movie?

Why aren't Hiroyuki Sanada / Tadanabu Asano / Ken Watanabe in a Golgo 13 movie?

WHEN'S GONNA BE MY TIME~?

There have been rumors that Mr. LaBeouf and Brad Pitt weren't getting along but I guess this confirms it:

According to reports, Shia LaBeouf's determination to practice method acting has become something of a problem on the set of WWII drama, Fury.

In trying to prove his dedication to the role, LaBeouf has apparently upset several colleagues - including co-stars Brad Pitt, Jason Isaacs, and director David Ayer.

A source told the Daily Mail: "Shia was warned about his behaviour by several people on set, including Brad Pitt and director David Ayer.

"He didn’t heed any of their warnings and found himself staying in a small bed-and-breakfast hotel away from the rest of the cast.

"Shia drove everyone mad on set trying to prove that he was the most dedicated star.

"He pulled out  his own tooth during the first few weeks of filming and then refused to shower for weeks on end so he could better understand how his character would have felt living in the trenches."
