Chaos
I might have missed this getting posted in the all the Terminator nonsense I really like the original, but I have low hopes for this because sequels for something like this rarely pan out to be as good. However, that trailer seems like a lot of fun. Was there a reason that Clive Owen is not playing Dwight in this film and has been replaced by Josh Brolin? I love Brolin as an actor, but Owen was one of my favorite parts of the first film. The scene of him imagining Benicio Del Toro in the car was one of my favorite scenes from that film. Pretty sure Owen's character was post cosmetic surgery, and this story is pre-surgery.
J.T.
What Elvion said. Dwight's story in A Dame To Kill For is rumored to be the story before The Big Fat Kill, so it will take place before Dwight got cosmetic surgery in Old Town. Why he did this and apparently kept his old name, I don't know.

Brian Fowler
Sin City stuff, spoilered because spoilers. Like, serious spoilers: There is no rumor of what Dwight's story is. Dwight's story is A Dame To Kill For, the title of the damn movie. It is pre-The Big Fat Kill. However, his plastic surgery actually happens in the middle of the story. The first half takes place before The Hard Goodbye (Marv's story in the first film) while the second half, post Dwight's face being rebuilt, is after that. I presume, and could be wrong, they will split the story in the movie the same way they did That Yellow Bastard in the first movie.
glfpunk
Terminator 3 is really awesome and is criminally unloved. That movie had balls. So many shit on it because it didn't have a happy ending and they were doomed anyway. Spoilers. The rest of it was very entertaining. It was the funniest Terminator movie too. I agree. Have seen it many times and never thought it sucked. It's just an entertaining movie. I wasn't a big fan of Salvation but it's not unwatchable. I'd watch either of them a million times before Avatar. That movie was terrible.

J.T.
My daughter is eleven now and likes movies like The Fault In Our Stars and Divergent, so I may dodge this bullet. Or not, since all I've heard this week is "When are we going to see How To Train Your Dragon 2, Dad?"

Ace
Guess this goes here: Wachowski Bros. latest film, Jupiter Rising, got yanked from the summer release schedule. Will now be released (buried) in Feb 2015: http://www.eonline.com/news/547980/mila-kunis-and-channing-tatum-bumped-jupiter-ascending-release-pushed-to-2015 Saw the trailer over the weekend. Looked like it could easily be a confusing mess. Released Wachowski Brothers were attached and assumed it would be a confusinf mess. Wachowskis are also no longer brothers.

Or not, since all I've heard this week is "When are we going to see How To Train Your Dragon 2, Dad?" The first HTTYD movie was AWESOME. And I think this trailer looks great. I might actually check it out. And, hey, Sheldon is one of the leads. That works.

Burgundy LaRue
Not sure why they wouldn't hold onto this until October--it's only a month from the intended release. Anyway, Eli Roth is doing his best Cannibal Holocaust impersonation: http://youtu.be/B6fyb8vW6Y8
J.T.
The trailer for Home was part of the How To Train Your Dragon 2 preview. My daughter: "So, Dad. We're going to see that too, right?" Me: "Sure..." I will probably end up liking it more than her. HTTYD2 was excellent, BTW.
