Oompa loompa doompety doo
I've got another puzzle for you
Oompa loompa doompety dee
If you are wise you'll listen to me

Who do you blame when your kid is a brat
Pampered and spoiled like a siamese cat
Blaming the kids is a lie and a shame
You know exactly who's to blame
The mother and the father

Oompa loompa doompety da
If you're not spoiled then you will go far
You will live in happiness too
Like the Oompa Loompa Doompety do

It absolutely has been one of those days for me at work.

Remember when you ran away
And I got on my knees
And begged you not to leave
Because I'd go beserk
Well you left me anyhow
And then the days got worse and worse
And now you see I've gone
Completely out of my mind

And they're coming to take me away ha-haaa
They're coming to take me away ho ho hee hee ha haaa
To the funny farm
Where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see those nice young men
In their clean white coats
And they're coming to take me away ha haaa

You thought it was a joke
And so you laughed
You laughed when I said
That losing you would make me flip my lid
Right? You know you laughed
I heard you laugh. You laughed
You laughed and laughed and then you left
But now you know I'm utterly mad

And they're coming to take me away ha haaa
They're coming to take me away ho ho hee hee ha haaa
To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds
And basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes
And they're coming to take me away ha haaa

I cooked your food
I cleaned your house
And this is how you pay me back
For all my kind unselfish, loving deeds
Ha! Well you just wait
They'll find you yet and when they do
They'll put you in the A.S.P.C.A.
You mangy mutt

And they're coming to take me away ha haaa
They're coming to take me away ha haaa ho ho hee hee
To the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see those nice young men
In their clean white coats
And they're coming to take me away
To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds
And basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes
And they're coming to take me away ha haaa!

If I were President, if I were President
There'd be at least ten months of June
For folks to spend their honeymoon
And night winds all would have the sweetest scent
If I were President

If I were President, if I were President
Silk worms in every house would grow
And they would all be on the go
In case there was a stocking accident
If I were President

There'd be lampposts like you've never seen
And streets would all be spotless clean

If I were President, if I were President
I'd have a cure that would work right
For those who couldn't sleep at night
The time they stayed awake would be well spent
If I were President

If I were President, if I were President
The dogs whose habits all were strange
Would undergo a brand new change
An all-day ice cream cone would cost a cent
f I were President

If I were President, if I were President
Each bus would have a smoother run
With lots of seats for everyone
Apartments once again would be for rent
If I were President

There would be no wrangling anymore
For drumsticks that fell short before

If I were President, if I were President
I'd pick up feminine morale
And get a man for every gal
More holidays would get my strong consent
If I were President

So, we have a new classic hip hop station here in the 804.

104.3.

They played this while I was on the way to work.

This is my new favorite radio station.

The former WKHK, no less. That's some weapons-grade trolling you just don't see in terrestrial radio these days.

I was out driving with my dad several lifetimes ago when this came on the radio... he stopped the car for a few minutes until the song ended and just sat there crying. Maybe the only time I ever saw him cry besides the ending to T2 (which is completely acceptable).

Well, come on all of you, big strong men,
Uncle Sam needs your help again.
He's got himself in a terrible jam
Way down yonder in Vietnam
So put down your books and pick up a gun,
We're gonna have a whole lotta fun.

And it's one, two, three,
What are we fighting for?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn,
Next stop is Vietnam;
And it's five, six, seven,
Open up the pearly gates,
Well there ain't no time to wonder why,
Whoopee! we're all gonna die.

Well, come on generals, let's move fast;
Your big chance has come at last.
Now you can go out and get those reds
'Cause the only good commie is the one that's dead
And you know that peace can only be won
When we've blown 'em all to kingdom come.

And it's one, two, three,
What are we fighting for?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn,
Next stop is Vietnam;
And it's five, six, seven,
Open up the pearly gates,
Well there ain't no time to wonder why
Whoopee! we're all gonna die.

Come on Wall Street, don't be slow,
Why man, this is war au-go-go
There's plenty good money to be made
By supplying the Army with the tools of its trade,
But just hope and pray that if they drop the bomb,
They drop it on the Viet Cong.

And it's one, two, three,
What are we fighting for?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn,
Next stop is Vietnam.
And it's five, six, seven,
Open up the pearly gates,
Well there ain't no time to wonder why
Whoopee! we're all gonna die.

Come on mothers throughout the land,
Pack your boys off to Vietnam.
Come on fathers, and don't hesitate
To send your sons off before it's too late.
Be the first ones on your block
To have your boy come home in a box.

And it's one, two, three
What are we fighting for?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn,
Next stop is Vietnam.
And it's five, six, seven,
Open up the pearly gates,
Well there ain't no time to wonder why,
Whoopee! we're all gonna die.

day late, but

Soon we'll go
To a place where nobody
Has been keeping track
And we'll eat for free
While they're holding hands

Stripping senses nightly
Undecided
All of your blues
Are just passing
Through

Standing there
While all the men in their hats try to cry
Pretending and puking them down
Can you want it back
Would it be alright

Stripping senses nightly
Undecided
All of your blues
Are just passing
Through
