Dolfan in NYC Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I've seen the lights go out on Broadway... I saw the Empire State laid low. And life went on beyond the Palisades; they all bought Cadillacs and left there long ago... WrestleMania 41 is in the books! And depending on who you are, you're possibly not happy about it! (Let's Go Cena/Cena Sucks!) We have a new undisputed WWE Champion as John Cena vanquished the dashingest of champions, Cody Rhodes. This is his 17th title and now comes with the added bonus of WWE never having to book Ric Flair again! They held a concert out in Brooklyn, to watch the Island bridges blow. They turned our power down and drove us underground... But we went right on with the show. Kind of lost in the fold is that we have a new World Champion too in Main Event Jey Uso! He yeeted his opponent until he could stand no more and surrendered. We also got new Women's AND Men's Tag Champs. Jacob Fatu captured gold for the first time as he became United States Champion. And the wicked and nefarious Dirty Dom Mysterio has earned his first singles gold as he became the new Intercontinental Champion! Lots of new champs! Let's see how long they last! I've seen the lights go out on Broadway... I saw the ruins at my feet. You know we almost didn't notice it... We'd seen it all the time on 42nd Street... Tonight! The Raw After Mania~, which USED to mean something! We may get a bunch of debuts, we may get a few main roster elevations! And we may get the answer to the eternal question... WHY CENA WHY? *HORNS SOUND* (If you were to ever ask me what my favorite song is... here you go.) Enjoy the week! 1
hammerva Posted April 21 Posted April 21 They got to use those new RAW debut patches tied to Topps cards for someone so I would think at least 2 or 3 debuts or call ups 1
Craig H Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Who does Aleister Black kill tonight? I’m just guessing he’ll be on tonight’s Raw.
Doragon Posted April 21 Posted April 21 WWE acquisition of AAA information https://corporate.wwe.com/about/news/2025/04-21-2025
Iron Moose Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Coming up on NXT: Tatum & Gigi v Lyra & Becky Roxanne v Stephanie
hammerva Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Yeah never want to hear about places like AEW "Exposing the business". 2
blitzkrieg Posted April 21 Posted April 21 So this a sign that they're finally actually going somewhere with Kross, right? 2 hours ago, Craig H said: Who does Aleister Black kill tonight? I’m just guessing he’ll be on tonight’s Raw. The Smackdown promos seem to point to Black returning on Smackdown. I did on the other hand look at my Rusevian calendar and April 21, 2025 is Rusev Day.
_MJ_ Posted April 21 Posted April 21 (edited) The Paul Heyman clips on Pat McAfee's ESPN show, that will be going around if you haven't seen them yet, is great timing considering the AAA acquisition news. PR doesn't matter much if it aligns with a certain administration these days, I guess. Ugly years ahead. Eh. Edited April 21 by _MJ_
hammerva Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I didn't watch McAfee show but apparently the WWE has no business telling anyone that Pat is doing these show high as a kite. Even Cena called him out on that
_MJ_ Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I thought the Pat McAfee smokes weed stuff from Paul was the tamest/lamest of the bunch. Although it would be funny, if that not-so-startling revelation is the one that actually gets him in any type of trouble at ESPN.
hammerva Posted April 21 Posted April 21 (edited) The only thing that ESPN is probably going to hate about is mentioning the Shannon Sharpe lawsuit. I guess we should be thankful that WM wasn't last week because at this rate we would have talked about the women in Mississippi and just fuck everything up Also I am sure that Braun Strowman is happy that Heyman is telling people that cried about not being on WM and then told the reason he wasn't there because "he sucks" Edited April 21 by hammerva 2
For Great Justice Posted April 21 Posted April 21 The problem with Kross is that he’s a “and then the bell rang” guy. If this were the late 90’s he’d be a strong candidate to remake himself doing plunder matches and promo work in ECW
The Natural Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Hope this will be a great RAW after Mania. Needs to be with how WrestleMania XLI turned out. 1

I think his usage as some agent of chaos has been smart the last year or so. It just needs to be leveraged a tad bit more. 1
just drew Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Is WWE really refusing to air the roast thing with Tony hinchcliffe? How bad does it have to be if a maga stronghold like tko is refusing to air it?

Note that he used the name Killer Kross, not Karrion. As far as the other shoots... no comment. But I do want a leak of the roast in order to cause chaos.

Peck Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Two things: 1. Gunther... Cole.. McAfee... McAfee's crew.... THAT was a fucking professional wrestling angle, boys and girls. Kudos to all of them. So good it kinda overshadowed the rest of the show, IMO. 2. The camera work was phenomenal when Bron speared Punk... the shot they used made it look like he might spear Seth but then Punk appeared just off cam. Superb visual. 2
HumanChessgame Posted April 22 Posted April 22 This was the best post-Mania Raw I can think of in a long time, probably because it fell on Rusev Day. 8

The Natural Posted April 22 Posted April 22 (edited) F4wonline.com: "Dominik Mysterio (w/Finn Bálor & Carlito) defeated Penta to retain the Intercontinental Championship (8:01)" "Dom had control through a break, but Penta came back after the break and hit a Canadian destroyer. Bálor tried to encourage Dom, but Penta wiped out Bálor with a hurricanrana off the apron." "As Carlito distracted the referee, the returning JD McDonagh shoved Penta off the top rope. Dom hit Penta with a 619 and a frog splash for the pinfall win." "Penta has one win in his last six matches." The Natural: https://giphy.com/gifs/3sZlRwZfxAI8g Edited April 22 by The Natural 1
