dogwelder Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I'm still holding out hope that Nakamura loses the US title before WM leaving him open to have a special event match with Tanahashi... 1
Godfrey Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Pitch: Add Trish Stratus to the Charlotte/Tiffany match, she can still go and then it would be three generations of WWE women's wrestling in one match. 1
odessasteps Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I'd hate to see New Day teaming with Logan Paul, but if Creed can get him for an appearance on UUDD, it would prob be worth it for him.
The Natural Posted March 5 Posted March 5 My go at a card: WWE Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena. WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther vs. Jey Uso. WWE Women's Championship: Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair. WWE Women's World Championship: IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair. WWE Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker vs. Sheamus. WWE United States Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sami Zayn. WWE Women's Tag Team Championship: Liv Morgan/Raquel Rodriguez vs. Alexa Bliss/Nikki Cross OR Alexa Bliss vs. Liv Morgan. CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins. Punk has a favour to cash in from Paul Heyman. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens. Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre. Jacob Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa. I think WrestleMania Night 1 Main Event will be Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk and Night 2, Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena. I just can't see Gunther vs. Jey Uso going on last even with the Yeet visuals and we haven't had a women's main event since Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair at WrestleMania XXXVII. Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair has more of a shot than IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair even though the latter will be a better bout quality wise. You need to get the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyrie and WWE Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green. Two firsts at a WrestleMania. Two sets of men's WWE Tag Team Titles as well. Someone's going to miss the cut.
WebConn89 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Got tickets to both nights plus Raw after Mania haven’t been to a Mania since 34 in 2018. 7

The whole family is going mom dad and brother. Dad’s gone to wrestling shows with my brother and I since I was 11 years old and my brother was 9 we are 35 and 32 now. This will be my moms 2nd well 2nd 3rd and 4th wrestling shows she went to a house show in Vegas in 16 with a buddy of mine And myself. She has no idea what she’s in store for. She’s watched wrestling for the last almost 40 years since she’s known my dad their earliest dates were watching Crockett on TBS. Moms watched manias on tv. To compare and contrast my dad has been to Mania 19 and 34. My brother and I 19 and 31-34. 4
hammerva Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I'll take awful ideas for a $1000 Alex https://x.com/SeanRossSapp/status/1902045476037259562
odessasteps Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I thought that was going to be about the four figure meet and greet package.

It would be an all-time Wrestlemania moment.
The Natural Posted March 22 Posted March 22 With the exception of Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena, Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins and Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens, I'm not feeling this WrestleMania Season at all.
stuntmanc Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Right now, Cody/Cena is the only match I'm looking forward to. I'm pretty bitter about Io/Bianca being turned into a 3 way and while I'm a fan of Orton and Owens, this also does not much of anyhting. Roman/Rollins/Punk contain two of my least favorite wrestlers, so im definitely hoping that Roman comes out on top, but I doubt Punk will do the job on Mania, since he doesn't seem too keen to be pinned cleanly since he returned to AEW. Gunther/Jey has potential, as I wouldn't mind a Mania feel good moment with Jey winning, though with my assumption that Cena wins, i can't forsee both world titles switching hands. Just an overall "meh" card. 1

It'll be the first time Gunther hasn't held a WWE title for over a year.

Cliff Hanger Posted March 22 Posted March 22 I'm sure Iyo/Rhea/Bianca will be glorious, though it wasn't remotely how I wanted this to go, but I'm otherwise not super excited either. PENTA/Bron should be good. Both the men's world title matches will be good but not interesting. I will watch Mania, I will probably enjoy Mania, but we should really have opponents for Chelsea and Lyra and the tag belts by now if they're not just being left out this year.

The Natural Posted March 25 Posted March 25 I'd have run Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair III instead of Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair or Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair even though I've wanted to see that at WrestleMania for years. Ripley/Flair would join Steve Austin vs. The Rock, The Undertaker vs. Triple H and Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar as the only WrestleMania trilogies. You can talk how it started five years ago and it will end five years later.
The Natural Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Charlotte Flair's WrestleMania record pisses me off: Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch. WrestleMania XXXII. Charlotte won when it should have been Sasha Banks. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka. WrestleMania XXXIV. Charlotte won and ended Asuka's undefeated streak by submission. This was the worst by far. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey. WrestleMania XXXV. Right winner in Becky Lynch but Charlotte Flair was shoehorned in. Lynch/Rousey was the match. Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley. WrestleMania XXXVI. Charlotte won. Wrong call.

I'm the biggest Punk guy here and I'd be SHOCKED if he won the triple threat match.

I'm the biggest Punk guy here and I'd be SHOCKED if he won the triple threat match. I have to push back on this(because of course I do lol), as going back to AEW, Punk has rarely, if ever been pinned clean as a sheet. He lost to Rollins in the cage bc of Roman, lost to Drew with Seth as the special guest ref through shenanigans and outside of multi-man stuff like the EC or Royal Rumble, he's not been pinned clean in a WWE ring. If we go back to AEW, he was pinned clean by Moxley. The Starks victory, he held the ropes and the MJF victory, MJF used Remsburg as a shield. I obviously am on record as not being able to stand Punk, but i definitely have wanted someone to do a deep dive of his "that doesn't work for me brother" the way people have been doing it to Edge. I went to cage match to look this stuff up, so if im missing something, i'll gladly amend my sentiment. When was the last time CM Punk lost clean?
stuntmanc Posted March 25 Posted March 25 All of that being said, despite my disdain for Punk, i really have a high level of interest in Roman/Punk feuding.
