Dolfan in NYC Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Toronto, Ho! The WWE is back in the Rogers Centre (tabernack, do I hate typing it that way - Just call it SkyDome for christ's sake.) for the first time since Mania X8(!) We need some more Mania title matches, so let's see what we've got! THE CARD~ MEN'S ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH FOR THE #1 CONTENDERSHIP TO THE UNDISPUTED WWE CHAMPIONSHIP - John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Logan Paul vs. Damien Priest vs. Seth Rollins WOMEN'S ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH FOR THE #1 CONTENDERSHIP TO THE WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley vs. Naomi vs. Roxanne Perez UNSANCTIONED MATCH - Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus vs. Nia Jax and Candice LeRae -- Technically, the winner of the Men's OR Women's Chamber could pick the NXT Championship, since Charlotte did put that out into the universe!

stuntmanc Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I wonder who the last two of the mens is going to be, because outside of Drew, the mens EC is a real tough sell thus far.

Godfrey Posted February 13 Posted February 13 For all their worth, rumbles are that Roman won't be at Elimination Chamber 1

Would that count as another world title win for him? Because if it would, then it can be a shrewd option for him! (Do they count it in Charlotte's ten or whatever title reigns?) stuntmanc Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I'm really looking forward to the womens Elimination Chambers. While obvoiously there are some positioned higher than others, you could legitimately make a reasonable case for any one of them in my opinion, so it's going to be a fun watch. The men's has a good lineup, even if the winner might be telegraphed a bit, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I inititally was having a difficult time getting excited for it, but in the grand scope of it, it should be a good to great match. It'll be nice to see Punk not win something too, unless there is a pivot away from Cena. 3
ChesterCopperpot Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Ticket sales must have been slow for the show.

blitzkrieg Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Cool to see Poppy getting drafted from NXT to the main brand. 1 1

Godfrey Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Looking forward to this one! I'm still hoping some last minute cheap tickets open up, has anyone seen a Chamber match live before? It seems like it would be hard to see from the nosebleeds
Phantom Lord Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I'm looking forward to KO vs. Sami tomorrow night. I expect some sort of big stunt to end the match since it's all unsanctioned and all.
dogwelder Posted March 1 Posted March 1 So Chris Featherstone claims that Rock's return has caused a change in plans and McIntyre is now set to win the Chamber again. (And I will cheer if this means we get Cena vs Hendry at WM)
SirFozzie Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Sounds to me like it's going to be Punk vs Cody, as Punk finally sells out because he wants to main event Wrestlemania. He mentions that someone offered to buy his soul, but didn't go into details.. and him telling Cody to reject the offer means that HE gets the offer.
The Natural Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I'm hoping for Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena or Cody Rhodes vs. CM Punk at WrestleMania 41. Sorry stuntmanc. 1
hammerva Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I admit I haven't really paid attention but did Cena announce he was in the Chamber or are we assuming he is? Has he been on TV in the last 2 weeks

The problem with that is that you have to explain the favor Paul owes him isn't needed anymore. Unless that will be the favor which is going to weird

I agree it’s not been well booked at all though.

Honestly, Punk/cody would be solid, especially if Punk sells out to the Rock. It would fit more in line with what he actually is than his disengenious "Voice of the Voiceless" bullshit and probably make him the most interesting he's ever been. Anything short of that though and i want him nowhere near a Mania main event, nor do i think he deserves one. 2
