Dolfan in NYC Posted January 14 Posted January 14 THE TOURNAMENT~ CONTINUES Saturday, January 18 4:30pm - HOUSTON @ KANSAS CITY (-7½) 8pm - WASHINGTON @ DETROIT (-9½) Sunday, January 19 3pm - LOS ANGELES @ PHILADELPHIA (-6) 6:30pm - BALTIMORE (-1) @ BUFFALO
BloodyChamp Posted January 14 Posted January 14 This is the CCG for the Bills if you ask me. If they beat the Ravens they really finally got this. The Chief’s time of having their number is just up. It’s as up as it was when the Colts beat Brady and the Packers beat the Cowboys. Yes I know it the Packers and Cowboys game wasn’t a playoff game before somebody corrects me but it was the end of the dynasty. They didn’t win another game that year and they haven’t recovered. Time was up.

Only way they have a chance is if it it is a first to 50 wins type of game and Josh comes out of the phone booth. . .
hammerva Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I figure it will drop by the end of the week but 9.5 point favorite by the Lions seems completely insane

But that's exactly what that sort of line is supposed to get you to do. Nevermind that this is exactly the sort of game Dan Campbell always loses. Hyper-aggressive 4th down call misses, and Jaylen "The Tortoise" Daniels just methodically takes 7 minutes off the clock with a TD to cap it. Lather rinse repeat.
Lawful Metal Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Diontae Johnson waived by Texans after throwing a fit about his usage. Cade Stover TE2 to IR. means we got two open roster spots for a certain someone who said he’d answer the call if Demeco needed him …

It won’t be an X and O game IMO, and if it will be the Ravens can’t stop the pass. Then if they play the pass that opens it up for Cook who has been running like just short of only King Henry down this stretch, and Allen who does things running that Jackson wishes ftw. But I can’t bring myself to pick a winner. 1

Technico Support Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I'm a Ravens fan but I never, ever get my hopes up.
Brian Fowler Posted January 16 Posted January 16 There's a lot of reasons to think this Buffalo team can be the one that finally beats KC in the playoffs, but I gotta be honest; I'll believe it when I see it and not a moment before. 2
NikoBaltimore Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I'm a Ravens fan but have a soft spot for the Bills. So I'll be happy either way. If anything I'm more curious to see how far the Chiefs will go as there's gonna be exceptional teams in their way.

Log Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I'm excited at the prospect of some new blood stepping up for the AFC, but also this creeping dread that it's just going to be KC again. At least, in the past, KC teams were fun to watch.
BloodyChamp Posted January 16 Posted January 16 The Bills have a better chance against the Chiefs than the Ravens, but the Ravens have a lesser chance against the Chiefs than the Bills. It would suck every bit as bad as :13 and Wide Right II if this is what happened to the Bills this year. Meanwhile the Chiefs would just win the SB like it was nothing. It would kind of suck if they ended up like the Packers in 1996, by getting past the Cowboys by not getting a chance at the Cowboys. But they’ll take it I’m sure.
BloodyChamp Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) So who is everybody pulling for? I’m still pulling kinda for the Chiefs so the Bills get them like I explained. Edited January 18 by BloodyChamp
Kevin Wilson Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Be a cold day in hell when I root for KC for any reason but I assume they will win via fuckery like usual. Rooting for all the underdogs. Go dogs. 1
Mister TV Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Refs really playing into the NFL is rigged with that call. 1
NoFistsJustFlips Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Has there ever been a team gifted so mqny flags? How is it always The Chiefs ALWAYS benefiting? 1
BobbyWhioux Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I feel like Jesse Ventura, watching Hulk Hogan hit people with the chair in full view of the ref and screaming into the indifferent abyss about it. 3 1
Kevin Wilson Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I was shocked the Texans weren't flagged on the last pass for "going low" on Mahomes.
supremebve Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I'm still amazed that Tank Dell was able to complete that catch as his knee was exploding into tiny little pieces.
Cobra Commander Posted January 18 Posted January 18 since the Vikings and Steelers went out last weekend, the team with the highest plus/minus of yards gained by penalties is the... Buffalo Bills https://www.footballdb.com/statistics/penalty-differential.html?yr=2024 the Ravens are last in that plus/minus, and the Chiefs netted 20 yards all year in the difference between penalties for and against. Should be interesting to see how that penalty dynamic plays out during Ravens/Bills
DangerMark Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Looking through, this is the first year of the Mahomes Era that the Chiefs have managed a positive penalty yardage differential.
