RIPPA Posted January 4 Posted January 4 I don't anticipate anyone getting fired after today's games but I damn sure hope a specific one gets fired after tomorrow's games
RIPPA Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 The Browns have fired Ken Dorsey as OC so you would assume this means Stefanski is safe but who knows
Cobra Commander Posted January 5 Posted January 5 how many years until the Patriots hire Belichick's kid after his stint at UNC?
Cobra Commander Posted January 5 Posted January 5 guessing the wheel of NFL coaching jobs moves Mayo to a defensive job somewhere else (remember, he went from Inside Linebackers Coach to Head Coach, so he might not even get to be a DC next year)
Brian Fowler Posted January 5 Posted January 5 That happened so fast the decision had to have been made before today, right?
Cobra Commander Posted January 5 Posted January 5 who's the designated Rooney Rule compliance interviewee for some of these quick hiring openings?
Kevin Wilson Posted January 5 Posted January 5 1 minute ago, Cobra Commander said: who's the designated Rooney Rule compliance interviewee for some of these quick hiring openings? Leslie Frazier? Has to be someone out of the playoffs.
BobbyWhioux Posted January 5 Posted January 5 CBS has cut away from Chiefs-Broncos to the more competitive Raiders-Chargers. After all, you don't give away the top heel finally getting pinned on free weekly TV... 4

RIPPA Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 Remember the NFL changed the rule and no in person interviews can take place till after the Divisional round of the playoffs
hammerva Posted January 6 Posted January 6 And this is probably why Bill put so many damn stipulations in his contract to go to North Carolina. He knew that if things go sour or he just retires and his son becomes coach next they will fire him as soon as possible.
supremebve Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Kyler Murray is the absolute best quarterback in the NFL when things matter the least. 1
RIPPA Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 So apparently Tyreek Hill refused to play the 2nd half of today’s game and then after the game basically said he wanted out of Miami

I just assumed he was more injured than he was letting on but maybe there was more to it behind the scenes.
Brian Fowler Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Miami doesn't really have to do anything for Hill next year. They absolutely can tell him to shut up and play. He's still under contract for two more years, his cap hit next year is in the twenty some million dollar range, he has no leverage. But he has a $50+ million cap hit for 2026 and there's no way they don't either restructure or cut him before that.

Players rarely have the leverage when they are unhappy but teams don't want openly unhappy players in their locker rooms. We just saw it last offseason, many said the Bills were dumb to trade Diggs since he had no leverage and he was their best WR but the Bills improved without him, imagine if they had grumpy Diggs all year. If in a couple months Hill still wants to leave they'd be wise to find a trade partner and just move on. But he also could get over it before then, WRs can be unpredictable.
RIPPA Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 Jim Irsay released a similar statement saying everyone was safe in Indy
