Ok, I'm not gonna lie, the trailer had *just* enough classic Abrahams & Zuckers spots that I've come around to slightly on board.

Pretty much the same, won't go to the theater to see this but will watch when it hits I'm assuming Paramount+.

Also for the record (and to show how dumb I am) - I missed the Cody Rhodes cameo

This is the teaser for the Springsteen biopic starring Jeremy Allen White

I just read two books on Springsteen*, both concentrating on the era depicted in that movie and I'm re-watching The Bear to prep for the new season, so that movie is SO my thing right now.

*Warren Zane's Deliver Me From Nowhere [Nebraska] and Steven Hyden's There Was Nothing You Could Do [Born in the USA]. Both are excellent.

Can't wait for the crossover movie where Bruce meets Bob Dylan (played by Timothee Chalamet of course).

Keep that kind of talk quiet.  Some useless studio exec will start dreaming up a musician shared universe series of films.  Do we need Rami Malek playing Freddie Mercury again?  We do not.

If it includes John C. Reilly as Dewey Cox, I'm fine with it.

I think that looks great, but it's also all extremely My Shit, so take that as you will.

Between this and Tracks II out next week, I'm having a Bruce summer, y'all.

LOOOL I was thinking the same thing looking at that screenshot.  Maybe he can play Randy Savage next.

I've got the Hyden book to read. Glad to hear you liked it. I love his Indiecast show.

Same here! Hyden’s music tastes run pretty much exactly like mine. I love me some dad rock.

Same. I'm really hooked on MJ Lenderman right now thanks to Hyden talking about his new record.

I just saw him live for the second time last weekend. He’s basically making my platonic ideal of what I want rock music to be.

This is the next Ron Howard movie. There was an international trailer a few months ago that may or may not have been posted.

The cast is an insane who's who of beautiful people

In Derek Cianfrance I Trust. Although it seems him, Darren Aronofsky, Ari Aster and Paul Thomas Anderson are doing more 'grounded' or male focused movies versus anything they normally do.

I am not sure I am ready to call Ari Aster grounded with Eddington... btw
