Inter Miami traded Leo Campana to New England a few days ago.  This gives them a slot to sign a player beyond cap rules.

The target is supposedly Neymar or  Kevin De Bruyne.

It's winter so stay warm!

Pete: Legit question, how has it gone so tits up for Manchester City having won four Premier League titles in a row and two trebles? Squad too old? Taken too much out of them? Rodri is a fucking massive loss with his ACL injury. This is one of the worst Premier League titles defences ever with Blackburn, Leicester and Chelsea when they canned Jose.

Defending champions City have dropped to sixth in the Premier League, nine points behind leaders Liverpool having played two games more, while Villa have moved above them into fifth.

It is now nine defeats in 12 games in all competitions for City, who are winless in their last eight away matches, as their season continues to spiral downwards.

Losing Rodri was disastrous and they were probably due for a down year. Something has to give... I don't think Pep is the problem, but at some point they lost the ability to close games out and sit on their opponents' heads. "Problematic" doesn't even begin to describe it.

Cheers, mate. Shocking turn of events:

W 1.

L 9.

D 2.

1 win in 12. Yikes.

One of my friends supports Everton, and is a conspiracy theorist-aficionado when it comes to Sports. He said "This is just Man City trying to say "you don't need us to punish us, look at our team, a deduction would relegate us, and no one wants that, right?", getting slapped on the wrist by the Premier League, and then going back to normal."

It'd be an interesting movie concept, wouldn't it?

Just a weird conflagration of things: injuries, confidence spin, a small bench and a successful manager who never had to struggle with losing before and how to stop ot.

As a United fan, the result at Anfield next week will pretty much be 27-nil, right? Salah will get roughly 6 hat tricks. I mean Newcastle will almost certainly beat United tomorrow night and then I've never been more certain of Liverpool beating them and that'll be 6 (count them, SIX) league losses since Amorim took over as manager about 4 days ago.

A team devoid of confidence who are piss easy to play against, full of players who either can't run, don't want to run or both in a league where pretty much every team in it is a good team who will outwork you? Yeah, it's going to be a long season. I was probably optimistic saying it'd be 27-nil to Liverpool.

I mean they had Casemiro and Eriksen in midfield who are roughly 800 years old and play like they're older against that rottweiler Newcastle team? I'm no manager but even I would have said that had I've made a huge mistake written all over it. If he wasn't such dogshit I'd have felt bad for Zirkzee because literally any one of the players could have been taken off after about 4 minutes.
