RIPPA Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Starting off hot as Kennesaw State has fired Brian Bohannon What is notable here is the school announced that Bohannon resigned. Well Bohannon took to social media to make it very clear that he was fired.
EVA Posted November 11 Posted November 11 I think that tells you it was as much about behind the scenes personal stuff as anything. No one could’ve/should’ve expected Kennesaw to be much better than they are this year. This isn’t just about wins and losses.
RIPPA Posted November 11 Author Posted November 11 Also - Jack Del Rio was busted for DUI this weekend so he will be resigning from his position as "senior advisor" at Wisconsin
Zimbra Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Barry Alvarez had a guy whose whole job was to keep Bielema from getting a DUI, this whole athletic department has become clown shoes.

RIPPA Posted November 12 Author Posted November 12 Oh that reminds me - the Kennesaw State AD said that he "thought Bohannon had accepted his offer to resign" instead of being fired.
EVA Posted November 12 Posted November 12 “Oops, I thought you chose the option that wouldn’t require us to pay your buyout. A harmless mistake! Let me just fix this paperwork…” 1 2
EVA Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Top shelf work by Dan Lanning’s agent here. When your client is having a national title caliber season, but there are no major college job openings to use as leverage for a raise, there’s only one thing left to do… 1

Chaos Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Rumors are Michigan offered Underwood $10.5 million to flip. Never sure how much to believe reports like this.

Eh, I'll be generous and say 5-12. 1

Considering the source (a Michigan team site), I’m gonna say not true. Sounds like the story you leak to the fans when you know you’re not getting a guy but you want to make it seem like you did everything you could. 1
Brian Fowler Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Yeah that's a huge huge jump from the $5 million reports going around.

And what to you know, it looks like Michigan is not going to get him. I do think it's still a good thing that they took a serious run at him. Hopefully losing the previously committed QB doesn't bite them, but Michigan needed to show recruits in general they are getting serious about NIL. Edited November 15 by Brian Fowler
RIPPA Posted November 15 Author Posted November 15 Hey! They can get the guy who just decommitted from FSU! Or wait five minutes and get the next guy who decommits from FSU 3
EVA Posted November 15 Posted November 15 And now for the downside of leaking the $10 million story: Lots of people who are not Bryce Underwood now think you have a ton of money just laying around to spend on them.

RIPPA Posted November 16 Author Posted November 16 Boston College benched starting QB Thomas Castellanos earlier this week In turn, Castellanos has left the program
Cobra Commander Posted November 16 Posted November 16 gonna take a late rally for the Razorbacks to continue a season where they're bad/mediocre vs non-top teams (they beat Tennessee, they're down 20-10 to Texas, and they're 5-4 overall)
hammerva Posted November 16 Posted November 16 The officials in the Clemson vs Pitt game have completely gone into business for themselves. 1
Pete Posted November 16 Posted November 16 No Army/Navy doubleheader in the AAC as Tulane whomps the Middies 35-0 to clinch a spot in the final. 1
EVA Posted November 16 Posted November 16 Billy Napier: SAFE Brian Kelly: Not built for this SEC life
Brian Fowler Posted November 17 Posted November 17 16 minutes ago, EVA said: Billy Napier: SAFE Brian Kelly: Not built for this SEC life Don't even have the "well they're good but they can't stop a running QB" line for this one. Kelly is reminding me a lot of Bret Bielema. He's just meant to coach in the Midwest.
Brian Fowler Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Jeff Brohm remains good for one inexplicable upset in each direction every year I see.
